아 카사 도 리오(Hotel A Casa Do Rio)

A character building that has been tastefully renovated. The hotel was quite quiet as not central to the old town. However it was clean and comfortable. Full marks to the staff who were both friendly and helpful. There is a station nearby should the temptation arise not to walk any further. I went to a local bar/restaurant for a menu del dia (served in the evening too) and watched the football. Yet another wonderful helpful person here. We had left something in the room and telephoned to see if they had found same. Not only found it but delivered to us! Brilliant. Muchas gracias,

My wife & I stayed here for 1 night on our Portuguese Camino. We were given a large room overlooking the river - one of the best rooms out of the 10 hotels on the Camino. As it was October, we were asked to go to a local cafe bar / restaurant for dinner. The Cafe Bar Mambis specialised in octopus / pulpo and we had an excellent meal. Breakfast at the hotel was self service and was adequate.

The lovliest bedroom of our Camino, large and well appointed - linens, table, chairs, fan. Bathroom had excellent hot water and water pressure. Nice river walk, post office just around the corner. Breakfast buffet. Very helpful hosts.

Un hotel con todo lo necesario para una muy buena estancia: el servicio extraordinario, la habitación cómoda y limpia, y la localización estupenda.

Un hotel encantador muy cerca de donde nosotros queríamos. En un lugar con buen acceso y muy tranquilo para descansar. El servicio muy amable. Estaba todo muy limpio, recomendaría a todo el mundo interesado en ir a Pontecesures o a Padrón visitar este hotel.

Hotel sencillo, pequeño pero perfecto. Hay momentos donde la sencillez es necesaria y mas si uno es un peregrino que vamos livianos caminando hacia Santiago. Alli una amable joven nos recibió nos atendió y fuimos a una linda y amplia habitación doble con flores en sus balcones. Prolija y con todo lo necesario para su descanso, baño grande y nuevo, buena ducha. Las recomendaciones sobre donde almorzar y cenar fueron excelentes, hay que siempre recordar que nosotros valoramos ese consejo necesario asi no tenemos que buscar y quizas equivocarnos. Siempre con una gran sonrisa nos atendió excelentemente. Los recomendaremos por supuesto para este y tambien para el proximo emprendimiento que tendrán en Padron en pocos meses. Felicitaciones!

Tappa in questo hotel verso Santiago, la receptionist Chelo (spero si scriva così) fantastica! Super gentile, ci ha portati a Padron per la cena e ritorno, super contenti del trattamento ricevuto! La camera è minimal, forse un po’ datata ma super pulita. Lo consiglio come tappa per il cammino.

A Simplicidade, a simpatia e o acolhimento, aliado á qualidade/preço. Quarto espaçoso, limpo e acolhedor, com aquecimento, ar condicionado TV e Internet. Tudo excelente. A senhora que atendeu é fantastica. Recomendo
