The first thing we noticed on entering our 3rd floor room, was the stunning view and balcony. However, this was dampened on opening the balcony doors due to the noise from the road in front of us. Clearly the main road in the area. This will not suit people looking for a lake view + serenity. Having said this, the hotel is good value and barely 10 minutes walk to the lakeside via some lovely public gardens. A supermarket is also 5 minutes walk for those wanting to stock up for picnic lunches. It was a short, flat walk from the train station and similar into the main Bavano town. The room did not have a mini fridge. The other downside was that they switched off air-conditioning in September and switched on heating. The temperature during our stay was still high (from a Britsh perspective) and we would have enjoyed the option of aircon. Especially at night where the desire was to keep the window closed to reduce noise. We asked for, and were speedily given, a fan - which helped. Breakfast was ample and the staff were friendly. The rooms were kept clean and you could see a pride in the hotel. No tea/coffee maling facilities in the room, but this seems common in Italy from our small experience. Overall we found the hotel to be be very good value for money and enjoyed our 3 night stay.

This is an exceptional hotel. We stayed for 4 nights in August 2024 and had the most wonderful experience during our stay. Every aspect of the hotel was well beyond our expectations. The quality of the facilities, the ambience of the environment and most of all the exceptional service from every member of staff was perfect. Nothing was ever any trouble and the staff attended to our every request, in the most friendly way possible. The hotel is very classy, most elegant and a charming environment to spend your holiday. We highly recommend the Boutique Hotel Stresa for a thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Great location, great staff, excellent food. Garden is exceptional. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well kept. Staff in the restaurant and the bars were friendly and very attentive. The only slight criticism that you could make is that the reception is a little small with only being manned by at most 2 people.

A lovely hotel. Excellent staff all so friendly and helpful. Our room with lake view from one of two balconies was spacious and very comfortable. Swimming pool quiet. Always sun loungers available. Staff came out several times to ask if we wanted anything from the bar. Great choice of food at breakfast - hot and cold, sweet and savoury, love the walnut bread and fresh orange juice. A scenic 20 min walk into town, this may be too far for some especially if very hot. We couldn’t see a taxi rank in town. Had a great holiday thanks to Hotel Flora. Stresa and Lake Maggiore a beautiful part of the world.

Das Hotelzimmer war bei 9 Grad Außentemperatur zu kalt! Die Einrichtung alt, das Badezimmer winzig. Schlimm war jedoch das Essen. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Die Salate lieblos, die Nudeln in Gemüse waren nur mit einer „Pampe“ bedeckt. Der Fisch mit Bratensauce ( angeblich Beerensauce mit Mintgeschmack) war fertig und an den Rändern trocken. Das Frühstück mit viel Kuchen, die weißen Brötchen nur Luft. Fetter Speck zur Auswahl, presss*****en und alte Käsescheiben. Den Kaffe aus der Maschine konnte man nicht trinken. Nie wieder!!

우리는이 호텔을 좋아했습니다. 직원들은 매우 친절하고 친절했습니다. 우리는 아름다운 공용 발코니와 가장 놀라운 전망 인 Lago Maggiore의 Borromee 섬의 일출을 볼 수있는 2 개의 방을 가졌습니다. 호수 주변 관광 후 장면을 바꾸고 싶다면 고속도로와 가까운 훌륭한 위치, 밀라노까지 1 시간 운전. 아침 식사는 꽤 거창했고 하루의 시작이었습니다.
