‘Lundy’, our first floor apartment, is the perfect place for a week away with the family, a romantic weekend or as a place to explore the rugged North Cornwall coast. Located in the fishing village of Port Isaac, famous for Fisherman’s Friends and ITV’s Doc Martin, it is just metres away from Michelin starred Restaurant Nathan Outlaws. ‘Lundy’ is one of two apartments in Bay House and these can be booked together to make a great getaway for up to 8 people. Both apartments have private parking on the premises.The first floor apartment will sleep 4 but feel free to combine this with Bay House’s downstairs apartment Lobber to have a seaside retreat for 8. Whether you’re enjoying Lobber or Lundy you’ll have views over the rooftops of Port Isaac to the sea. The first double bedroom comes with built in wardrobe while the second can be used as a super king double or two singles.Alongside the two bedrooms you can enjoy the open plan living room and kitchen with space for dining if you feel like creating your own culinary masterpieces. You’ll find everything you need with a hob, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Stepping out into Port Isaac you’ll find a wealth of great restaurants, cafes and pubs with a strong emphasis on fresh, local seafood. As well as the neighbouring Restaurant Nathan Outlaw you have the more relaxed Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen or one of the other loved-by-locals eateries such as the Chapel Café or The Old School restaurant.To walk off all those delicious meals you’re only a short walk from the beach at Port Isaac or the sheltered cove of Port Gaverne. Alternatively, jump in your car for a short drive to the stunning Polzeath beach and watch (or join in with!) the surfers trying to catch the next perfect wave.You will love the South West Coastal Path’s restorative cliff top walks.You’ll have use of Wi-Fi throughout the property and a television with built-in DVD player and Freeview. Bosuns Locker is situated in a great location to discover true Cornwall as there are narrow, winding and cobbled streets that lead to the picturesque fishing harbour, shops, restaurants, watering holes and safe beach of Port Isaac. It only takes a short walk (approx 200 yards) from the apartment to reach the main area which is also alive with history and exciting things to discover including where the TV series Doc Martin is filmed (starting again this Feb 2022) and the well known Cornish group of singers, named Fisherman’s Friends, sometimes perform.The property is a ground floor apartment found tucked away at the end of The Terrace. Upon entering the front door you are led into a beautiful lounge/dining area decorated in a nautical theme. There is a dining table to seat four and two comfy leather sofas for relaxation in front of the multi fuel burner. The lounge leads to a modern and well equipped galley kitchen area which also has a small seating area. There are two beautiful bedrooms within the apartment, one with a double bed and the other with full size single beds. Sleeps 2-4The Annex is an attractive self-contained converted garage, with sea views, at the rear of a Victorian terraced property between picturesque Port Isaac and Port Gaverne beach. Ideal for small family or couple - although not for suitable for toddlers or for the less able as the steps to annex are steep. The annex has its own private parking spot, which is a great bonus in Port Isaac where parking is difficult.The spaceReached by a flight of stairs leading to a wooden deck with glorious sea views across Port Gaverne Bay and out to Tintagel Head, the annex is a comfortable, well appointed flat. It sleeps 4 withone double bedroom and 2nd room with bunk beds (not suitable for tall adults) and a small but stylish bathroom.The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave. The living area includes a TV, and the deck is provided with a small outdoor table and chairs for enjoying the evening sun. Please do note there is no Wifi at the annex. There are a few places in the village that have free wifi.The cornish coastline is one the most stunning in the world. There are so many activities for all ages along with great beaches nearby. There are great coastal walks on your doorstep, swimming and kayaking on beach below, surfing nearby in Polzeath. There are a couple of golf courses nearby.This area of north cornwall is a foodie’s heaven with chefs such as Nathan Outlaw in Port Isaac and Rick Stein in Padstow along with many other great restaurants.Guest accessOne parking spot behind the annex for guest use only.Other things to notePlease note the Annex is reached from the back of 15 The terrace and not along The Terrace.
