This hotel is excellent, modern, clean and spacious. The facilities are very good, although the pools are quite deep, seemingly without shallow ends. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The food is of good quality and variety. The only downside is that we found meal times to be quite chaotic and challenging. Partly due to the volume of people and quite frankly, out of control children, at times. Location wise, the hotel is situated in Špadići which is a 25 minute stroll into the beautiful Porec. There is also a small train, every 40 minutes costing €2.50 each way. There are a few bars and restaurants near the hotel and the beach literally across the road. The beach is pretty much concrete but the sunsets are amazing. Porec is stunning and well worth a visit. We also visited Rovinj and Pula but found Porec to the be the nicest, although busy, and hot! The hotel attracts nationals of most European countries and on particular there seemed to be a lot of Austrian and German quests. There were few brits (which isn’t a bad thing as we aren’t fans of brits on the razz). We’d have given this hotel 5 stars, however meal times were an issue and we ate out for 3 out of our 7 nights due to this. This was our second trip to Croatia and would highly recommend a visit. The people are warm and friendly, the towns and scenery are stunning.

The rooms are clean, spacious, and beautiful. The food is tasty and diverse. A big plus is the heated outdoor pool. The entire complex is clean and well-maintained. The only bad experience was the poor-quality drinks from the machine at dinner (warm, with a moldy taste). The staff is unfriendly.

We are about to go home tomorrow and don’t really want to go! The hotel has been fantastic, staff Have been amazing, very friendly in the restaurant and throughout the hotel.. The cleaning has been exemplary! We are a family of six adults and four children (multi generational!) and every room has been amazing. The pool and the sunbeds and the facilities for the children have been very good. The food was excellent, very fresh and always able to find something to eat. The gala dinner on Thursdays was fab and extra drinks (g&t’s) available with your dinner. Would love to return one day soon. Also, had a massage today which was brilliant. Excellent price too.

Very nice hotel, everything well organized. Nice and clear pools. Our room was daily cleaned up. Food: let’s say I always found something nice to eat. The hotel has near too pool an A la carte Restaurant with very good food also during the day. Beach: the hotel has no own beach, but the once nearby at nice and clear. And is also a sandy Beach from the Valamar hotel besides, partly public. The hotel has also a room for bikes, where you can also bring a Stand Up Paddle for overnight.

The hotel itself was excellent the staff were amazing, rooms cleaned daily ,pools were good lots of seating around the pool, staff at the Ala park pool bar were lovely and their lots of activities for our kids to enjoy day and night. However, we where half board(never again)the food hall was like a very rude Germany cattle market in the morning and evening. People pushing in and pushing our children out of the way. People piling their plates up and not leaving any for anyone else to have. Family pushing past to get tables that you are walking towards to get for our family. One evening it was a cinema evening which my children were super excited about however a Germany family decided to move there chairs right in front of us to we couldn’t see. I complained to the waiter but the family wouldn’t move. So we decided to move over our chairs next to them and we ended upsetting another family (every man for themself I thought). The swimming pools were lovely a bit cold at time but there were no shallow ends in any of the pools. They did a lip at one end of the pool which was shallow but had a deep drop at the end of it. Hotel very much catered for the Germany market only 3 British families we noticed. Porec was a beautiful town we loved it there full of culture and history , however you needed to get a taxi there and back which was about 15 euros each time. We went a few times for food due to the hotel for not catering for one of my daughters we can only eat certain food due to a tummy issue. Finally there a sea platform with steps going down. We bought sea shoes to go in to the sea as the floor was full of stones which was fine the sea Wes warm and lovely when you got in. However the steps were really slippery and I end falling in on the steps I really hurt myself and end up with a bruise on my bottom 30cms by 15cms and it was very painful for 3days please be careful on the steps especially with young children.

Very average hotel, I would recommend booking an alternative hotel in Pore . We stayed in numerous hotels during our holiday to Croatia and Slovenia, this one being our definite least favourite. On first impressions, it looked great, however, the food was v average, samey, not great quality and drinks served as half board were low quality. Pool was nice but incredibly overcrowded and not enough sun beds. No real evening entertainment and lacked a decent atmosphere that you expect for a hotel like this. Issues in our rooms (no air con), were not sorted out. Glad we only booked a few days and would not return to this hotel. I don’t normally write bad reviews but this hotel was overpriced for what it was and certainly underdelivered

Quite a nice experience. I give four stars. One for food that was satisfying. One for the accommodation which was fine, one for the staff who were very friendly and we would give the last star to a wonderful girl who made our child happy And thank her for that, Stella, the Naka family loves you ♥

Excellent hotel. Great food. Some of the best staff. Very modern. Great facilities. Thank you plava . The rooms were nice and spacious. With king beds. Food was great and they cared well for my wife who is gluten free. Great atmosphere., Very safe. Lots of European nations holiday here. It would be worth hiring a care as you are aboutb1.50 by bus from Pula. Tourist train nearby goes to porec for 2euro each way.

Just back from a week at the hotel. Everything was great from staff to food. Would recommend a stay here. Only down side was that our rooms didn't have a balcony. Good walks either way along the coastal path but, would say the on to Porec is smashing.

Initially, I was going to give 4 stars. However, as the days have progressed the shine has worn off somewhat. 1 star awarded for the food which is nice, especially the evening meal. 1 star awarded for the room, very well laid out and clean. We arrived and waiting in reception for 2 hours as our room wasn't ready. This was perfectly acceptable as we arrived well before the check-in time of 14:00. The receptions were friendly, however, nothing about the hotel was explained to us and we have had to figure this out as we have gone along. In other hotels there has usually been a little more information upon arrival. Our biggest bug bear has been with the fact the room is absolutely sweltering and air con is simply not available (I have reported it 4 times). They sent a technician up to our room but he just switched it on and then off again saying it just wasn't available at this time of year (a company policy apparently). The receptions suggestion was to leave the door open at night (to let the mosquitoes in??). On the surface the hotel looks good but when you scratch the surface it is not at all good. The main issue being the receptionists' 'can't be bothered attitude'. We would not stay here again and would advise anyone reading this not to either. Very disappointing experience.

Spent almost 3 months at lovely villas at Laguna Park. The location is very nice, close to the beach, plenty of nice equipped pools, big secure parking. Villas are cosy and quite well equipped. Loved gas-grill on a terrace! :) The stuff was extremely helpful and friendly. Many thanks to Dalibor, Martina, and other reception stuff. They made our stay more comfortable. The food was also good. We are looking forward to visit this nice place again.

ovely clean hotel. The rooms we had were spacious and modern. Large balcony with a side view of the sea and the local tennis club. We didn’t get much sun here but the view was good. Everyone was helpful and worked hard particularly the staff in the restaurant. The pool areas were good. A quiet pool along with a childrens pool. Water was bloomin cold though! The only downside to this hotel was the food. Very samey and just not hot enough! There were never any mushrooms or tomatoes at breakfast which would have been a nice change and the coffee just sat there luke warm. If you’re going to have a buffet then make sure you have the means to keep the food hot. I would definitely visit again the bed was huge and the room was wonderful! Cleaners were always good at cleaning when you weren’t around and just moved on and came back if you were. Hairdryer was better than some Ive had but there was no kettle/tea/coffee making facilities which would have been good to get a hot coffee. Overall a great hotel in a good location and certainly one of the better ones in the area.

Stayed for 11 nights, 2 adults 2 children. Arrived before 3 and were able to check in early. We received a friendly welcome from the staff and had a lovely clean, well sized and modern room. Unfortunately our view from the balcony was the restaurant/kitchen extraction fan and air con system which was very loud and very smelly when food was being prepared. We explained this to reception who very kindly offered us an upgrade, however the children would have had to share a bed and that wasn’t acceptable to our 13 year old son so we opted to stay where we were. We we’re very grateful that they tried to help at a time when the hotel was full. The hotel is very big so meal times at the buffet are incredibly noisy and busy. Unfortunately German guests can be very impatient and rude, pushing in front of our children on several occasions to get what they want and shoving food in their bags/pockets/in their children’s strollers without a thought for other guests. We chose to eat out on a few occasions because we just couldn’t face the experience of the buffet. That said, the staff work incredibly hard to ensure their is plenty of freshly cooked food. It wasn’t always as tasty as you would want but that isn’t unusual with these kind of holidays and a half board holiday probably isn’t for us. We have all decided that wherever we go next is likely to be self catering so we can explore more local restaurants and bars. We noticed on our first day that our shower was broken, we reported to reception and it was fixed within half an hour. The pool areas were great and everywhere in this modern hotel was clean and pleasant. We have previously stayed in Porec at Zelena Laguna and we have to say that it was a nicer area with more going on but Spadici has lots of areas to swim not far from the hotel and a land train into Porec was extremely useful. All in all a lovely holiday but as most English families we bumped into on boat trips or in the hotel said, it was slightly marred by the unregulated behaviour of German guests who seem to be the largest group at the hotel and in Porec itself. Such a shame as we have always tried to avoid holidays where guests are predominately English. Thank you to the hotel staff who work so hard to provide fantastic accommodation.
