Wonderful stay with Sofie and Lode. A charming B&B a cats throw from the town centre. The welcome was tremendous as was the room, it was lovely with a very good shower. Breakfast was massive, we're not big breakfast eaters, but if you are, you're in for a treat. Overall, we loved it and will be back.

Stayed here on a cycling holiday. It's a lovely, comfortable B&B with welcoming hosts. Excellent in all respects, there's a true home from home feel about the place, located in quiet street a few minutes from the centre of Ypres. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay in the heart of Ypres on a quiet street. Great use of space in the room with a very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Parking is either directly opposite (if you are lucky to find a space) or close by. Be careful where you park because some streets don't allow it and you get a parking ticket (which UK drivers tend to ignore apparently!) but there is plenty of free parking within 5 minutes walk. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of fresh bread and pastries with jam made by the owners mum. Eggs and bacon are cooked fresh. The owner is lovely and an interesting person to have a chat to about lots of topics. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the small outside space overlooking the garden. The only negative with this property is that the walls are thin and so there might be a bit of noise if visitors in the next room are noisy. That didn't affect us though and won't stop us returning for a stay.

Stopped here one night after having had 2 nights in Brugge. Excellent little b&b the hosts were super friendly and able to give lots of information. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Bacon and eggs are available as well as usual bread cheese and ham. Located a few minutes walk from the town centre. Easy to park. Would have no hesitation returning

Fabulous- such a lovely place & hosts. Travelled with my teenage son. Was apprehensive about B&B as maybe would prefer a hotel; but this place was great. Personal & friendly greeting, lots of advice, well stocked mini-bar, plentiful breakfast: There are just two rooms, 4ppl, so it does feel very private, hosts helped with museum/tour/WW1/eatery recommendations We’ll certainly stay at cocoon again if we’re back in West Belgium . Thank you.

Our third trip to Ypres did not disappoint. The city is as welcoming and warm to foreign nationals as ever, especially over Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday. Sophie and her family were fantastic hosts. Sophie herself was funny, kind and made us feel like we were at home. Our stay included a delicious and plentiful breakfast. The b&b was impeccably clean and though small, completely comfortable, charming and a three minute walk to the city centre. The beds were great and every amenity we could want was already in the room. Highly, highly recommend Cocoon!
