The lovely Dalmatian villa is located in the middle of Dalmatia between Split and Dubrovnik in the Makarska Riviera, in an idyllic town on the slopes of the Biokovo mountains, with a breathtaking view of Podgora and the islands around it. It is about 300 m above sea level. In the background, the massif of the Biokovo Range extends with its steep slopes and the gentle foothills, full of green olive and fig trees. Go biking or hiking through the Biokovo Natual Park, some 2 km away. Just relax and soak in the town's atmosphere, surrounded by the aromas of lavender and rosemary. Enjoy the lovely sunsets and the starry night sky far away from the tourist masses. In this idyllic town on the slopes of the Biokovo Mountains, you can enjoy the pool or the four balconies with a view of the sea. It is situated in a peaceful surroundings, not far from the town church, and was built in 1905, and subsequently renovated with much attention to detail. The rooms are large, with traditional stone walls that give off a special ambiance. Each room has a balcony or terrace, where you can enjoy a sunset with a good glass of wine. The large, rustic kitchen is on the ground floor, with a lovely garden and a 25-m2 pool . Gorgeous home - beautiful place to stay in Podgora
We had the best time at Villa Lavanda! This home is fabulous and has been meticulously renovated - it felt so special to stay here; a true Dalmatian gem!
Manuela was a lovely host, super attentive and friendly. She set up a baby crib for our daughter and was always available via text.
Highlights: AMAZING POOL and Garden, very large comfortable bedrooms, 5 min drive to Podgora beaches, gorgeous sunsets and unreal views of Croatia from any of the FIVE balconies.
I hope I can stay here again some day in the future!

Great place with all what you need and a very helpfull Manuela. Fantastic views to the sea and the mountains. The only negative thing is, that it takes to long to walk to Podgora.

Beautiful House
We had a beautiful week in Manuelas House. So very clean, well decorated, nice and cozy. Delicius treats upon arrival. Thank you so much. A lovely pool and flowet garden and a stunning view from the bed rooms over Podgora and the sea and Islands.
Missed an owen in the kitchen, but found other ways to cook our meals on the grill outside.
This holiday House gets our best recommendations👌

Wir hatten das große Glück, einige unvergessliche Tage in diesem traumhaften Ferienhaus an der kroatischen Küste verbringen zu dürfen – und wir sind restlos begeistert!Schon bei der Ankunft hat uns die Atmosphäre des Hauses verzaubert: Alles ist makellos sauber, mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Eine optimal eingerichtete Küche, perfekt für alle, die gerne selbst kochen und genießen.Der Außenbereich ist ein echtes Highlight: Ein gepflegter Pool, der zum Entspannen einlädt, dazu ein gemütlicher Terrassenbereich mit einem schönen Steingrill, der unsere Grillabende unvergesslich gemacht hat. Die Umgebung ist absolut ruhig, da das Haus etwas oberhalb in den Hügeln liegt – genau die richtige Mischung aus Abgeschiedenheit und Nähe zur Küste.Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die grandiose Aussicht aufs Meer – vor allem bei Sonnenuntergang.Ein ganz besonderes Lob verdient auch die Gastgeberin: herzlich, aufmerksam und unglaublich großzügig. Wir wurden mit verschiedenen hausgemachten Köstlichkeiten überrascht, was unseren Aufenthalt noch persönlicher und wärmer machte.Wir sind rundum dankbar für diese Zeit, die wundervollen Stunden in diesem kleinen Paradies, und werden uns noch lange mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht daran zurückerinnern. Wir sind bereits das 2x dort gewesen und kommen gerne wieder.

Einfach toll!!!
Toller Ort, schöne Umgebung, ein wundervolles Haus. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und steht einem quasi rund um die Uhr bei fragen zur Seite. Bei Anreise wurden wir mit verschiedenen Leckereien überrauscht. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt! :-)

Eine traumhafte Villa!
Wir waren im Juli mit zwei Familien bei Manuela zu Gast. Sowohl die Erwachsenen als auch die vier Teenager haben sich vollkommen wohl gefühlt.
Die Villa liegt mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht auf dem Berg oberhalb von Podgora Beach. Jedes Zimmer war liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war alles noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Manuela und ihr Mann haben uns rundum gut versorgt. Geschenke gab es für uns zur Begrüßung und zum Abschied, auf jede Frage wurde umgehend geantwortet und sogar bei der Buchung einer Bootstour erhielten wir Unterstützung . Manuela fuhr mit uns zum Haus hoch, kam zur Hälfte des Urlaubs zum Wäschewechsel und war immer für uns da. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen.
Der Pool und die Außenanlagen waren sehr gut gepflegt.
Zum Einkauf sind wir 20 min nach Makarska gefahren. Meistens haben wir dies mit einem Ausflug verbunden.
Es war unser erster Urlaub in Kroatien. Zur Hauptsaison war alles sehr stark überfüllt, aber unser wunderschönes Ferienhaus war uns ein guter Rückzugsort.
Zu Manuela würden wir jederzeit wieder reisen!!! Wir sagen DANKE für zwei Wochen voller phantastischer Erinnerungen!!

Perfekte Unterkunft vor traumhafter Kulisse
Wir waren zu ingesamt 8 Erwachsenen in der Villa und hatten mehr als ausreichend Platz, sowohl in den Schlafzimmern (mit jeweils eigenen Badezimmer) als auch in den Gemeinschaftsräumen. Jedes Schlafzimmer hatte ebenfalls einen eigenen Balkon mit fantastischem Meerblick. Hier kann man traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge beobachten. Es war alles super sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt.
Die Gastgeberin Frau Vela war sehr herzlich und hat uns sogar noch mit leckeren, selbst-gemachten Köstlichkeiten überrascht. Sie war jederzeit sehr gut erreichbar.
Die Lage der Villa im Berg war für uns ideal, ausreichend Privatsphäre, als auch wenige Autominuten vom Strand bzw. der Promenade in Podgora entfernt. Darüber hinaus gibt es einige schöne Wanderrouten, die man in der Gegend machen kann.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
