With 2 king bedrooms and a living room with new sectional sofa that doubles as additional sleep areas, this peaceful retreat is perfect for a small group of guests. The walk in shower allows access to anyone. The pups have a fenced dog run in the back for a safe spot of their own. Enjoy the serene surroundings and modern amenities like highspeed WiFi, heating, smart TV and a washing machine. The kitchen is fully stocked with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge & dishwasher. Pots pans, dishes & silverware everything you will need for your stay. There is a comfortable living room with a sofa bed that is also a queen size if needed. * Please note that at this time guests will be required to bring their own linens & towels for their stay as we do not have a way to do any laundry. In the living room you will find a TV where you can stream the latest shows through the apps. There is access to the internet through our Star link wifi system. There is also a surround sound system that you can pair to your phone & be able to play your Pandora music list. Welcome to the yellow cabin! After a day of golfing at Lake Almanor West golf course or fishing, boating or kayaking on the lake, come relax at this charming four bedroom, three full bathroom spacious Lake Almanor cabin. This home-away-from-home is well stocked for your next vacation with everything the family might need, and more. Enjoy the views of the seventh hole tee while barbecuing and playing games on the wrap around porch, or relax in front of the fireplace while reading your favorite book. There is room for parking a boat, and the boat launch dock is about 1/4 mi away. There also is a 220 volt (level 2) Tesla plug-in (NEMA 14-50). It is not a Tesla charger, so you need to bring your cable. Whatever your next vacation might bring you’ll find this cabin offers plenty of space (and amenities) for everyone. We are sorry, but at this time, no pets. The beautiful cottage has been recently remodeled and boasts a fully equipped kitchen for some home cooked meals. It has a large shower with great hot and cold-water pressure. Perfect for after a long day at the lake or on the trails. If you feel like grilling, we've got you covered with a Webber charcoal grill for a nice steak, burger or even a S'more. Relax on the wraparound deck and just enjoy the tranquility this area has to offer. This cottage is perfect for 2 but can accommodate 4. Did I mention we are pet friendly? So, feel free to bring your furry, 4-legged child.
This cottage is in the historic, gold rush town of La Porte, CA. La Porte is surrounded by the beautiful Plumas National Forest in the Sierras. Nestled in the desired Plumas Pines, you will find this one-of-kind 4 bedroom house with yard. This large home boasts an open floorplan great for entertaining or large family gatherings. Fully fenced and landscaped yard with deck that is great for younger kids and features café lights at night for a great ambiance. Large living area features a wood burning fireplace and a 65” smart TV for all your subscriptions.
The designated cook will appreciate the well-stocked kitchen including air fryer, crock pot, Keurig, blender and quality cookware. The deck is equipped with a 4 burner propane BBQ ready for larger cookouts.
There are two larger suites, both with deck access, one with a Queen and the other a Cal-King. Two more bedrooms - one with Queen and the other with (2) Full sized beds. Complete with fresh linens and pillows for your convenience.
Garage is utilized as a game room featuring ping pong, darts and a LED TV.
We do offer a 10% discount on service teams contracted to the area. Contact us for further details.
New in 2025 central air conditioning has been installed in the house. Air conditioning is a RARE amenity in vacation rentals in the area but we know your summer trips are valuable so treat yourself.
Our "No Pets" rule is based on pet allergies. If you bring a pet we must have the house deep cleaned which requires an extra day between rentals---a cost of $500 is passed on to you. There are other rentals that welcome pets, sorry. We have another house in the area that does allow dogs, the Tree House.
Plenty of parking on this semi-circle driveway and a pad on the side for overflow or fishing boat.

Relax with your family and friends in a spacious, clean and comfortable single-story home in the quiet small town in Northern California offering a little slice of heaven, Chester, near Lake Almanor. Relax at the lake, hike, or stargaze in the yard. The home sleeps up to 10 people in two queen-sized bedrooms, one full-size and twin bunkbeds room, in addition to a futon sofa in the living room.
