"This is our sixth stay at this hotel, and over the years, my family and I have stayed in almost every room category they offer. For the past three years, we have consistently chosen the Deluxe Two-Bedroom Apartment. Unfortunately, during our last five years of visits, we have witnessed a steady and very noticeable decline in both service standards and overall quality. The cleanliness of the rooms has become particularly unacceptable. The rooms are dusty and poorly maintained, with a visible layer of dust under the sofas that appears not to have been cleaned for a very long time. Since checking in on September 3rd, my entire family has experienced significantly worsened allergy symptoms, which we strongly suspect are related to the amount of dust in the apartment. The breakfast quality has also deteriorated considerably over the years. We used to include breakfast with every stay, but the quality has declined to such an extent that we no longer choose to have breakfast at the hotel. Housekeeping has been another major disappointment during this stay. For two consecutive days, I placed the room-cleaning sign on the door. I also specifically informed the hotel that we are traveling with a two-year-old child who takes an afternoon nap, and therefore clearly requested that housekeeping be completed before 1:00 PM, as the room cannot be serviced between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. This request was particularly important because the hotel’s housekeeping service ends at 4:00 PM. In other words, if our room is not cleaned before our child’s nap begins at 1:00 PM, there is effectively no opportunity for it to be cleaned later in the day. Despite explaining this situation clearly, on the third day our room had still not been cleaned in the morning, leaving us once again without housekeeping service for the entire day. As returning guests who have chosen this hotel six times over the years, this is especially disappointing. We genuinely wanted to give the hotel one final chance, hoping that our previous negative experiences had been temporary. Unfortunately, this stay has confirmed the opposite. It is regrettable to see a hotel we once enjoyed and repeatedly returned to decline so consistently in cleanliness, service, and overall quality. After six stays and several years of giving the hotel the benefit of the doubt, this experience has been extremely disappointing. PS: The pillows are very uncomfortable. They are very hard, and there are no soft pillow alternatives."

People were smoking **** and seemed hazardous. I couldn't risk staying at that place due to concerns for my health, and the inside of my car with my belongings was at risk of vandalism. This is not a hotel. This place does not have a parking area. It is a casino. A Casino for people that take ***** and be radical. I came by here on my buisness Trip at 23:20. With belongings in the car that needed to be kept safe. I came not to inhale smoke right at the entrance. J djd not came to gamble. I looked for sleep and safety. None of it is possible here. As fkr me first text. The shown pictures hide the faxt that it is a Casino. Not only that, it is a red ******* looking Casino in real life! With big Casino signs hanging everywhere!"

"I have visited 44 countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels, and I can honestly say that Hotel Jägerhof Plovdiv gave me the worst experience I’ve ever had. What makes it even more disappointing is that I have stayed here multiple times before and even recommended this hotel to several large companies that later held their events and venues here. I genuinely believed in their service — but after this last visit, I completely changed my opinion. Despite having a confirmed reservation, the staff refused to let me park my car or even enter the hotel just because I arrived before 3 PM. Their behavior was cold, rude, and absolutely inflexible. I was told that I am not considered a guest until 3 PM, even though my booking was valid. I was left standing outside, not allowed to park or wait inside. To make matters worse, when I expressed my disappointment, the staff suggested that I look for another hotel if I didn’t like their policy. That’s not hospitality — that’s arrogance. My advice to anyone considering this hotel: 🚫 Do not arrive early, because you won’t be allowed to enter or park your car before 3 PM. 🚫 If you are a foreign visitor, do not rent a car or drive here, as you will be left outside with nowhere to wait until check-in time. After so many positive experiences in hotels worldwide, this was by far the most unprofessional and unfriendly treatment I have ever received — especially disappointing from a place I once supported and recommended."

"This is a large hotel, located somewhat far from the city center, so having a car is advisable (if not essential) to get there. On the other hand, it has free parking right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient for coming and going, although the first time you arrive it's a bit confusing since there's a barrier and nowhere does it indicate that it's the hotel's parking lot. You have to take a ticket and drive through as if it were a public parking lot, and then at reception they validate the ticket each time so you can leave without having to pay. The hotel is in a tall, large building with a "Soviet" style aesthetic, lacking any charm, despite being quite nice. The same was true of the room: very large, functional, it had everything necessary, it was on a high floor with a view... but without any charm! The hotel was half empty, if not almost completely empty, which also seemed strange. The staff were very polite, but lacked initiative. For example, upon arrival we asked about the pool, and they showed us where it was, but when we went down to swim, they told us it was already closed for maintenance at 6 pm... in the middle of August! Even so, the best thing about the hotel, at least in summer, is undoubtedly the pool (which is why we chose it, as it was very hot at midday). There were few people there, and the surroundings were rather unattractive, although the pool itself was huge and very pleasant. Breakfast was fine, nothing special. On the second day, we were the only couple at a table in the dining room, and they served us breakfast à la carte because they hadn't even set up the buffet. I suppose it was because there weren't enough guests. The overall impression was that the hotel was operating at half capacity, or as if it were about to close soon, or perhaps not, but a hotel of this size with so few guests gave a somewhat sad and run-down feel. In short, it's a good place to stay while visiting Plovdiv, if you have a car or other means of transport, but it lacks any real charm."
