프놈펜, Kool As U 근처 호텔

호텔의 위치는 좋고 직원은 매우 친절하며 호텔에는 사우나와 자쿠지가 있지만 우리는 사용하지 않았습니다. 침대는 편안했고 욕실은 슈퍼 샤워 시설을 갖추고 있어 흠잡을 데가 없었습니다. 3층에 있는 우리 방은 펌프가 계속 돌아가는 것처럼 소음이 너무 심했습니다. 소음이 밤새 지속되어 잠을 잘 수 없었습니다

호텔에 들어서 자마자 현지 특성이 느껴지고 로비 전체가 세심하게 꾸며져 있습니다. 그런데 솔직히 말해서 방이 너무 낡았고, 당시 장식에 많은 생각을 했다는 것을 알 수 있는데 정말 너무 낡았습니다. 우리가 배정받은 방은 1층이었는데, 발코니 문을 열었을 때 사진 1과 같았습니다. 작은 발코니도 매우 좁았고 의자 하나만 들어갈 수 있었습니다. 특히 화장실을 못 참아요. 세면대는 학교 다닐 때와 똑같네요. 너무 얇아서 조리대까지 덮어서 너무 더러워 보여요. 욕조도 하나 있는데 역시 물을 꿴 바닥 모양인데, 욕조에 서서 목욕을 하면 늘 부정한 느낌이 든다. 그런데 하룻밤에 210위안 이상을 지불하려면 어떤 종류의 자전거가 필요합니까? p.s. 저희 비행기가 11시 30분에 도착해서 조금 일찍 호텔에 도착했는데 미리 호텔에 전화해서 자정에 호텔 프론트에서 체크인을 해줬습니다. 감사합니다!

현대적인 객실, 장식, 멋진 전망을 갖춘 이 가격대의 훌륭한 호텔입니다. Mr Kol 매니저는 믿을 수 없을 정도로 친절하고 도움이 되었으며 훌륭한 대화와 환대를 통해 우리의 숙박을 더 좋게 만들었습니다. 또한 분실물 처리에 대한 근면함과 전반적으로 효율적이고 친절한 태도를 보여주신 하우스키핑 및 프론트 오피스 팀에게 많은 감사를 드립니다.

Location - Well placed in the city. From the pool and bar area you can see the independent monument and the tops of the palace complex. There are some distance views of the river as well. Easy to walk out from to the monument, palace and the river. Just be warned that if you walk you constantly get hassled by tuk tuk's looking for business. Crossing the road can be challenging as it is very busy. Rooms - Basic clean and all that you need in a hot country. The only downside is that it can be noisy due to the stone floor that echo's the sound of chairs being moved. Staff - Polite and speak good English. Big shout out to the petite young women (sorry don't know name) who served us breakfast and during the day, evening drinks - always had a big smile and very helpful. Food - Nice selection at breakfast of fruit and cereals, pastries. A selection of cooked breakfast representing many cultures (noodles, soup, western eggs etc). Lunch/Evening they had a good selection of small bites (burritos, veg and dips) and western and Asian dishes (steak, noodles, rice) Amenities - Good wifi signal throughout. Restaurant and bar clean and mixture of seating available. Pool table. Pool was gorgeous on the roof with great views. Big enough to have a little swim about. Seating can get crowded in the afternoon when people return from touring around. Recommend the hotel as we didn't find or have any negatives.

An unfortunate experience, I found myself in the worst situation dealing with M Residence, as on the day of my check-in, the Sale Manager Vincent neglected to inform the receptionist about my booking, and instead of booking online for a fair rate, they wanted to charge me 50 USD per night, when it was only 24 USD online. Because the receptionist was new and unfamiliar with the process, she had to validate each step with her manager. It took me 45 minutes to check-in. The whole thing felt sketchy because I had to pay 130 USD with tax instead of 72 USD online with Airbnb small tax it would have cost max 86 USD if I recall. Anyway, I paid and received a very small room with hardly working air conditioning and filthy elevator. The swimming pool was breaking apart, and it appeared that the structure was inadequately maintained. There was no pool attendant, and no PH and CL analysis of the chemicals in the pool was available. The entire establishment is a shambles, and they definitely lack hospitality skills. Anyway I shared some information about my experience with the Manager who told me “The staff are so bad” I wanted to react and tell him that he should invest in training them but I could see there was no point in telling him has he clearly do not hold any sense of hospitality skills… The day before my departure I contact the “Receptionist Supervisor” and asked if I should do my check out now to collect my deposit back as I leave at 5:50 am and she informed to not to worry there is 24/7 staff at the lobby. Of course, the day of my check out there was no staff at the lobby to proceed my check-out so now they are ghosting me over 30 USD refund. In addition to all of this I intended to do a collaboration with the Sales manager upon my arrival a discount or free stay over some pictures which they gladly receive but never gave me proper feedback nor a compensation. M Residence is a disgrace to the hospitality industry in Cambodia. Their unethical practices and scams are not the way to conduct business.

Don’t typically stay with the Hyatt Brand, but the Hyatts in Asia have been amazing! The room here was great. It’s wonderfully located - near the river, the Palace etc. That’s not the reason for this review. This review is for the STAFF. We stayed here 12 nights and each day we were met with a collection of sweet smiles. Wish we learned all their names but are glad to have connected with a few: Daily breakfast buffet were with the lovely Seavyoung and shy Srey reap - thank you for taking such wonderful care of us each morning; Sotheary was our lovely lunch companion; Sopha, a sweet little thing from the Attic; Yem from the Regency Club, thank you for our bottomless Prosecco; Dinner Staff from 55, lovely Leakana and her team; Last, but certainly not least, Fariza, sweet darling, thank you for singing us romantic songs; Eric,one of the managers, love your contagious energy. Five Stars accommodations and amenities are pretty much the same, what separates them is the team of people who enhances your stay. For the entitled reviewers / visitors who expect perfect English…. How’s your Cambodian!?!

Great location, clean, perfect bed, breakfast , sport facilities with very helpful and friendly instructor and his helper. The best in Phnom Penh say's a man who have been 15 times in the capital.

Le management des responsables de cet hôtel est catastrophique. On nous dit à notre arrivée que notre chambre (réservée des mois auparavant sur Booking et bien confirmée sur Booking) n’a pas été enregistré dans leur système et que nous devons trouver un autre hôtel pour la nuit. C’est en insistant que la manager nous dit qu’il y a finalement une chambre de disponible. L'Hôtel est vieillissant et sale. Aucune table propre, un petit déjeuner indigne. Un staff très peu qualifié et pour couronner le tout nous avons été témoins d’une scène suspicieuse d’abus sur mineure. Nous l’avons reporté à l’accueil de l’hôtel qui n’a pas semblé surprise et ne semblait pas du tout préoccupé par la situation. A éviter.

The room really clean and friendly staff . The breakfast were delicious . Housekeeping always keep our room clean and provide us new replacement. They also give us the early check in too after we had long trip . Thank you for this good service.

As I stepped out of the tuk tuk struggling with my carry on, a guard from the hotel hurriedly came up and took my carry on up the stairs, and then another young man opened the door to the beautiful spacious inviting lobby of the hotel : the young girls at the desk Oun Samnang and the Manager Ms. Seng quickly attended to my registration, while a cold welcoming drink and a moist hand towel was given to me to be refreshed from the hot ride to the hotel! I was asked if I wanted to know more about what was in the neighbourhood area that I would like to visit and I assented: important detail here: I was asked first which was quite perceptive since anyone coming in tired would be too tired to listen! I was quickly shown to my spacious room which was clean, cool and smelled heavenly! I was here for a staycation away from the bustle and hustle of the city with its loud construction sounds: - ALL staff very attentive: from the pool cleaner to the hotel maintenance cleaners: thank you - I had fresh fruit awaiting me when I went up to the room: there was glass bottle with water and a refill station downstairs if needed more: very environmentally conscious ! BRAVO for this! - the safety box gave me trouble and immediately the manager and staff came up and within minutes helped me - it was found out that somehow I was double booked from my online booking, and the manager who discovered it quickly pointed this out because she did not want me to be charged twice on my credit card: I was very impressed with her attention to detail ( I will not know yet how this will be solved since I booked online through Agoda) Breaking news: Manager Seng solved that for me and I was not charged! VERY GRATEFUL AND THANK YOU Manager Seng! - the French cafe Le Cafe at White Mansion＞: cannot say enough about the staff there and the manager Ms.Sokunthy of that cafe: breakfast was delicious: coffee hot like I want and not warm as in other hotels: attention being given to even down to the bread knife for the baguette! Even if I just wanted great desserts and coffee, a place to work, I can always come to the cafe here on my day off! They graciously brought out my breakfast to the pool side area for me! - the room: amenities good: I like the idea of liquid soap rather than the little soaps given at other hotels! AND there is a blow dryer in the room! - I am an early riser: so happy that breakfast which was included began at 6:30 - at ‘turn down’ for the bed around 6, freshly baked delicious cookies were brought to the room! Cons: - it is an international hotel: so smoking is allowed everywhere: so a positive for smokers but a non-smoker who is allergic to cigarette smoke, I had to shorten my times at the pool because of this -
