"The sea view room has a nice view, it is almost the highest hotel around. The hotel breakfast is normal, the continental breakfast is not bad, and the bathroom glass is very clean."

"Terrible. Do not listen to reviews. Website indicates its an apartment in a hotel. This is not a hotel. On arrival we were told it hasn't been a hotel for many years but we showed the website and they said its not updated and shrugged. There is masking tape on the door to cover the hotel sign and the whole vibe downstairs seems rundown. The apartment suite had a broken plug socket. Unclean shelves in the bathroom. 1 broken shelf in bathroom. Dust on bed frame. Sofa bed with marks, scuffs, dirt and cigarette burn. The blinds were broken at the patio door. Dingy light. The whole trip felt like a nightmare."

"Absolutely stunning. Immaculate and modern hotel, with exceptionally helpful, polite and friendly staff. Breakfast is ample and fresh and the restaurant for lunch or dinner is by far the best in Petrovac and the cocktails are amazing!!! You get a 10% discount too! Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels and there is a fridge, kettle and hairdryer. Even had little welcome chocolates for us! It’s right on the sea front and We had a sea view room which I would recommend upgrading to so that you’re not overlooking the back of a supermarket or facing the inside of the hotel. Private section of beach, with sun beds you can secure for €15 per day. Even had waiter service. There is a bar next door called Cuba but to be honest, once we shut our door we didn’t hear much. Just people talking and laughing and enjoying life!!! To make this a 5 star, the owner needs to add a few nice touches such as better toiletries in the bathroom, provide dressing gowns not just slippers and perhaps charge guests less for the sun beds on the beach. Overall, I would definitely recommend coming here."

"Location was great with beach outside and bars restaurants not far and the atmosphere in the town was lovely as we were lucky to experience a few local end of season festivities, however generally quiet at night. However all the niceties stop there and when we arrived we were going to reception for check in through an unfinished building car park. Check in was also difficult as receptionist could not find our booking and asked us if we had paid and to send confirmation, which was a little disorganised and unprofessional. We were promised a 4 star stay however we got the opposite- we were put on the other side in an unfinished hotel section overlooking another unfinished hotel site and floors were not hoovered. The bed wasn’t set up with 2 single beds as we had requested days before arrival. Draining system was also awful in the shower so flooded the whole floor. The breakfast was bland, tasteless and cold and there was not much choice to begin with. There were choices of nuggets and pizza which was a bizzare choice for a breakfast! We had to seek for food elsewhere which was a shame as we didn’t really factor this in our budget as we’d already paid for the breakfast so not really good value for money in the long run. On the last evening we walked into the “hotel” to find they had taken all the lamps out of our room which was really strange and left them in the hall way. Definitely felt like a cat fish hotel and would not recommend to book a stay at all. However I would recommend Petrovac as a place to visit 100% as it gives for a tranquil and peaceful stay with stunning surrounding scenery and really good day excursions. Every single restaurant in town had amazing and tasty food! 10/10 Petrovac 0/10 for the hotel."

"We stayed one night in room 402 of this hotel, a room that seemed abandoned to us because of its terrible condition: ripped out socket, no curtain at the window but a remnant of a rod fixed to the wall, non-existent baseboard of the bathroom door and no bedside lamps, but after complaining we were brought a broken one; not to mention the dilapidated furniture and the carpet in the staircase and corridor. The only positive points are the quietness and the proximity to the city center. Hotel to avoid"
