호스카 호텔 페트라(Oscar Hotel Petra)

Beautiful location at the top of a very big hill with a lovely outdoor patio to enjoy the lights at night. Very close to Petra. The rooms are a little worn and shabby but very clean. Wonderful friendly staff and a reasonable price.

When we walked into the room we could smell something nasty coming from the bathroom. The room was freezing cold and we were also given a double bed when we needed two singles. We were told our meal was included so we ate at the hotel Buffet. The food was terrible. There was a cat jumping on peoples chairs whilst they were eating. We did not have a choice of seating and ended up shoved on the end of someone else’s table. At the end of the meal we were told we had to pay for it which is fine but we were told it was included. If we had known this we could have eaten elsewhere. The food was extremely expensive for what it was and we were made to feel like herded cattle. We feel were spoken down to by a member of staff possibly because we are women. The Wi-Fi in our room was also awful.

Room basic - mattress and pillows ok. Great choice of food at buffet for breakfast and dinner, but cash only for extras including drink (great that they had a bar!). lifts were hit and miss - one of the two broke twice while we were there. A little way from the centre so not ideal for exploring at the end of a long day.

Fuimos a este hotel porque iba incluído en el paquete que contratamos de Jordania, pero cambiaría de categoría sólo por no volver, no permitáis a la agencia que os lleven aquí! El hotel no es sólo muy viejo si no que está sucio. Encontramos pelos en la cama y en la almohada de repuesto del armario, tuvimos que colocar una toalla que llevábamos en la maleta encima de las almohadas para dormir tranquilos. El baño daba asco, nos duchamos con chanclas. Para rematar, aunque nunca llueve en Jordania, justo nos pilló noche de tormenta y toda el agua entraba en la habitación ya que las ventanas no cerraban bien, tuvimos que llenar el suelo de toallas porque se nos inundaba la habitación. En ese momento no bajamos a recepción porque al día siguiente teníamos la visita a Petra y ya era muy tarde, queríamos descansar. Se lo dijimos al guía a la mañana siguiente, que lo comunicó delante nuestra al personal de recepción, y al volver no sólo no nos habían cambiado de habitación si no que no habían ni entrado a limpiar y las toallas empapadas seguían en el suelo. También hubo un detalle muy feo, y es que teníamos un router de wifi al principio del pasillo que casi no funcionaba porque la señal era muy débil, pues nuestro segundo día llegó otro grupo más grande que el nuestro al que alojaron en el otro extremo del pasillo.. y nos quitaron el router de nuestro lado para ponerlo en el de ellos! Por decirles algo positivo, el personal era amable y el bufet estaba bien. Pero al final es el peor hotel en el que he estado.

Le gros point noir de notre séjour en Jordanie, on ne comprend toujours pas comment cet hôtel ait pu faire partie de la sélection de notre voyagiste!!! Etablissement vétuste, à peine propre avec un cerbère très désagréable en charge des commandes et du règlement des boissons dans la salle à manger

Sangre en los azulejos del servicio, bañera o****** y sucia, puertas de los armarios (viejos) rotas, sábanas sucias y usadas, colchones meados, cucaracha en el quicio de la puerta, ..., Todo el grupo tuvo la misma experiencia. En bloque nos marchamos.

2 nuits dans cet hôtel dans le cadre d'un circuit accompagné. Les points positifs: beaucoup de choix aux buffets dîner et petit déjeuner, pas de la grande gastronomie mais bons, superbe vue sur la ville de Pétra, literie confortable, chambre et salle de bain propres, déco des parties communes plutôt jolie. Les points négatifs: très loin de la ville et du site archéologique, obligé de prendre un taxi, serveur des boissons au restaurant aimable comme une porte de prison, limite à faire peur, heureusement très bon accueil de la réception.

Telecommande tv sans tv, clim sans telecommande. Pas de bouteille d'eau dans les chambres, ni de verre pour se brosser les dents Et au restaurant, vers 20h le serveur (aimable comme une porte de prison) n'avait pas la monnaie sur 20 dinars, il voulait soit ma cb soit que j'aille faire du change pour ses 3 dinars. Son chef a fini par trouver la monnaie.
