The old: 4 bedrooms and a 2nd lounge with cosy combustion fire. This is a very historic place - in part built from Fireball Bates' cottage (c.1870), which was the first stone house in SA, pre-dating white settlement. Historic photos and information are located in the fireplace lounge room for your interest.This house is well worth a week or more - enjoy meandering down to your own beach, fishing from your rocks or taking a short walk to the main swimming beach and town amenities. Our favourite is to walk down to the shoreline at sunset.
