'Check-in was a problem. When I got there and called to check-in the person I talked to said that my card had been declined and that I owed $30 some more and wanted me to give card information. I said that I had a printed confirmation in my hand from Trip.com that stated that it had been paid. After about 15-20 minutes and after I had given the booking confirmation number, the lady put me on hold and came back and said it was fine and gave me the room code. Otherwise, it was nice.'

Brand new romantic cabin overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway and Mountains, with a two story stone gas log fireplace and a fully furnished kitchen it’s the perfect location to spend time with someone special. This 12 acre site, located just a short drive from Roanoke, and 6 miles from Fairy Stone, plus other Virginia state parks, and the Gordon Trent Golf course. With hiking, swimming, boating, and other outdoor activities nearby there is always something going on during the day. The property boast’s several natural springs and wildlife. Cozy log cabin, our cabin is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway for a great relaxing drive. We are located in Meadows of Dan where there is a small shops, country store with home made food, fruit, and souvenirs. We are our only about 2.5 miles from Mabry Mill on the Parkway, they have a great restaurant (not open during the winter months). We are 12 miles from Floyd were they hold Floyd Fest in July. On Labor day weekend come walk one of the largest flea markets. We are 5 miles near the Chateau Morrisette Winery where you can go tour the winery, do some taste testing and have dinner. Close to hiking trails along the parkway. We are pet friendly with small non refundable deposit. Our cabin is located in a community of cabins. This charming home boasts two bedrooms with three comfortable beds, perfect for a small group or family getaway. The master bedroom features a king size bed and there are two full size beds in the additional bedroom. Included is a washer and dryer and two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom is equipped with a steam shower/sauna feature for ultimate relaxation. The inviting fireplace warms the living space, creating a cozy atmosphere for chilly evenings. Enjoy a game or two of pool or foosball on the newly featured mini game table. Step out onto the balconies to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains, letting you soak in the beauty of nature right from your doorstep. There is a gas powered grill on the deck and you will also have access to the community tennis court and pond. It's the perfect blend of comfort and tranquility for a memorable stay!

From the Mural mountain wall to the fully stocked modern kitchen with open shelves, stainless steel appliances, great outdoor space with a screened in patio along with an open deck with a gas grill and patio table and chairs, Coffee bar, Pantry, dedicated workspace in front of huge windows so you can work inside yet also get to enjoy the beauty of nature, 1.5 bathrooms, wood fireplace (seasonal use October-March) and your own washer and dryer.
Cozy Doe is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath full size home that sleeps up to 6 people. The cottage has AC and Heat so you will be comfortable anytime of the year. Cozy Doe is open year around and all roads leading to it are paved and maintained. We are also pet friendly as well. (No Cats)
Outdoor Space:
The outdoor space is something that you will definitely want to use a lot during your stay. Huge open deck with a gas grill and a screened in patio with Patio loveseat, chairs and a hammock swing along with it being tastefully decorated and a ceiling fan to keep you cool in the winter months. We even have a patio table and chairs.
You will want to take the time to enjoy this section of "Cozy Doe" and take in the outdoors.
Living room:
The living room has a comfy sectional with a pull-out bed along with cozy lighting and a large Roku smart tv, sound bar and dvd player. We even have games, puzzles and books for the whole family.
The Kitchen and Dining Area:
Fully stocked with all your basic cooking amenities, stainless steel Stove, Dishwasher, Microwave and Refrigerator. Check out the amenities section to see the list of kitchen supplies.
Cozy Doe has its very own coffee bar with a Keurig k-cup and Drip coffee maker. Next to the coffee bar you will find a pantry to store all your supplies should you plan to cook while you are here. After you see the kitchen, you will want to cook all your meals here. Cozy Doe has a large family dining table with seating for 6 people.
Bedrooms:
Tastefully decorated and a Queen size bed in each bedroom with comfortable sheets and a heated mattress pad should you get cold and a large smart Roku Tv in one of the bedrooms. A closet to hang your clothes and store your luggage. Along with nightstands and a cabinet for storage as well. We supply all linens so no need to bring your own.
Bathrooms:
Bathroom #1 is a half bath with a sink and toilet along with a front loader washer and dryer that you are welcome to use at no additional cost. We even supply a starter of laundry detergent and dryer sheets.
Bathroom #2 a full bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower/tub combo along with Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
We supply towels and wash cloths for your stay.

From the moment you walk into "Cozy Doe" you will not want to leave. Modern with a rustic charm is a great way to describe this perfect mountain getaway. At "Cozy Doe" you will find a clean, newly remodeled cottage with all the amenities that you could possibly want. Cozy Doe is peaceful, quiet, secluded and COZY.
From the Mural mountain wall to the fully stocked modern kitchen with open shelves, stainless steel appliances, great outdoor space with a screened in patio along with an open deck with a gas grill and patio table and chairs, Coffee bar, Pantry, dedicated workspace in front of huge windows so you can work inside yet also get to enjoy the beauty of nature, 1.5 bathrooms, wood fireplace (seasonal use October-March) and your own washer and dryer.
Cozy Doe is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath full size home that sleeps up to 6 people. The cottage has AC and Heat so you will be comfortable anytime of the year. Cozy Doe is open year around and all roads leading to it are paved and maintained. We are also pet friendly as well. (No Cats)
Outdoor Space:
The outdoor space is something that you will definitely want to use a lot during your stay. Huge open deck with a gas grill and a screened in patio with Patio loveseat, chairs and a hammock swing along with it being tastefully decorated and a ceiling fan to keep you cool in the winter months. We even have a patio table and chairs.
You will want to take the time to enjoy this section of "Cozy Doe" and take in the outdoors.
Living room:
The living room has a comfy sectional with a pull-out bed along with cozy lighting and a large Roku smart tv, sound bar and dvd player. We even have games, puzzles and books for the whole family.
The Kitchen and Dining Area:
Fully stocked with all your basic cooking amenities, stainless steel Stove, Dishwasher, Microwave and Refrigerator. Check out the amenities section to see the list of kitchen supplies.
Cozy Doe has its very own coffee bar with a Keurig k-cup and Drip coffee maker. Next to the coffee bar you will find a pantry to store all your supplies should you plan to cook while you are here. After you see the kitchen, you will want to cook all your meals here. Cozy Doe has a large family dining table with seating for 6 people.
Bedrooms:
Tastefully decorated and a Queen size bed in each bedroom with comfortable sheets and a heated mattress pad should you get cold and a large smart Roku Tv in one of the bedrooms. A closet to hang your clothes and store your luggage. Along with nightstands and a cabinet for storage as well. We supply all linens so no need to bring your own.
Bathrooms:
Bathroom #1 is a half bath with a sink and toilet along with a front loader washer and dryer that you are welcome to use at no additional cost. We even supply a starter of laundry detergent and dryer sheets.
Bathroom #2 a full bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower/tub combo along with Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
We supply towels and wash cloths for your stay.

4x4 is not required to access the property at all except in cases of snow.
While we do our best to inform our guest about upcoming winter weather it is smart to always keep the weather checked while coming to the mountains in the winter.
