'Check-in was a problem. When I got there and called to check-in the person I talked to said that my card had been declined and that I owed $30 some more and wanted me to give card information. I said that I had a printed confirmation in my hand from Trip.com that stated that it had been paid. After about 15-20 minutes and after I had given the booking confirmation number, the lady put me on hold and came back and said it was fine and gave me the room code. Otherwise, it was nice.'

Brand new romantic cabin overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway and Mountains, with a two story stone gas log fireplace and a fully furnished kitchen it’s the perfect location to spend time with someone special. This 12 acre site, located just a short drive from Roanoke, and 6 miles from Fairy Stone, plus other Virginia state parks, and the Gordon Trent Golf course. With hiking, swimming, boating, and other outdoor activities nearby there is always something going on during the day. The property boast’s several natural springs and wildlife. Rumors are that the one spring was used by fairies to drink from and the ladles are still hanging on the tree.Night life is quiet, but only a short drive to the famous Floyd’s Country Store, where live local music is played, or just stay at the cabin and enjoy a cozy fire around the fire pit.Paved road access and a short ride to several local wineries.This cabin is the perfect spot for a stress free recharge.Note: Cabin is about 30 minutes from several towns, like Floyd, Stuart, Bassett and misc other small towns, but there are several local mini marts and gas stations within 15 minutes. Cozy log cabin, our cabin is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway for a great relaxing drive. We are located in Meadows of Dan where there is a small shops, country store with home made food, fruit, and souvenirs. We are our only about 2.5 miles from Mabry Mill on the Parkway, they have a great restaurant (not open during the winter months). We are 12 miles from Floyd were they hold Floyd Fest in July. On Labor day weekend come walk one of the largest flea markets. We are 5 miles near the Chateau Morrisette Winery where you can go tour the winery, do some taste testing and have dinner. Close to hiking trails along the parkway. We are pet friendly with small non refundable deposit. Our cabin is located in a community of cabins. Cozy Doe has its very own coffee bar with a Keurig k-cup and Drip coffee maker. Next to the coffee bar you will find a pantry to store all your supplies should you plan to cook while you are here. After you see the kitchen, you will want to cook all your meals here. Cozy Doe has a large family dining table with seating for 6 people.
Bedrooms:
Tastefully decorated and a Queen size bed in each bedroom with comfortable sheets and a heated mattress pad should you get cold and a large smart Roku Tv in one of the bedrooms. A closet to hang your clothes and store your luggage. Along with nightstands and a cabinet for storage as well. We supply all linens so no need to bring your own.
