Nice location. Good breakfast. No proper restaurant a small disappointment but close to plenty in town

Simple but comfortable to stay. Convenient hotel to be stay during business trip which the place I visit just 5-10mins drive.

I recently stayed at the Hôtel de Bourbon (the Mercure one) in Bourges, and honestly, it felt like stepping into a little piece of history while still having all the modern comforts you could want. My room was a classic double, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent—properly supportive after a day of wandering around—and the bathroom had a great walk-in shower with good water pressure. Everything felt freshly renovated (they did a big update around 2018), with a nice blend of modern touches and the old abbey character. Some rooms overlook the park, which must be lovely in summer.

Good location, close by to connecting main roads, and toll roads. Eating places within walking distance, and the staff welcome and attention was first class. Hotel needs a little bit of TLC, but I have to the Aircon in the reception area and the bedrooms was very welcome.

Wij hadden er 1 overnachting zonder ontbijt. De kamer was niet echt ruim maar voor 1 overnachting prima. Wc en douche waren apart en het bed was heerlijk. Parkeren kon onder in de parking. Voor ons prima voor een nacht.
