케팔로스 다몬 호텔 아파트먼트(Kefalos Damon Hotel Apartments)

코로나 이후 첫 번째 리뷰를 받은 호텔 도착 시 매우 환영받았고, 적당한 크기의 객실, 편안한 침대만 있고 아침에 뜨거운 물이 없거나 아주 적었습니다. 우리는 모든 식사에서 뷔페 음식이 다양하고 품질이 좋다는 것을 알았습니다(어떤 사람들은 매일 똑같다고 불평했지만 접시에 모든 것이 있으면 매일 똑같을 것입니다). 내 아내는 글루텐 프리를 요구했고 레스토랑 매니저와 이야기를 나눈 후 점심과 저녁을 미리 주문할 수 있는 메뉴를 받았습니다. 바에는 다양한 음료가 있었지만 특정 바텐더 2명이 켜져 있으면 서비스가 약간 느릴 수 있었습니다. 차라리 서로 이야기를 나누는 것이 낫습니다. 엔터테인먼트는 훌륭했습니다. Pino와 Merci는 낮과 저녁 내내 열심히 일하며 자주 일찍 일어나고 늦게 집에 돌아갑니다. 일광욕용 침대가 많은 수영장이 3개 있습니다. 첫 번째 주는 괜찮았지만 침대를 예약하지 않았지만 두 번째 주에는 멍청한 0시 군중이 나타나서 필요한 것보다 더 많은 침대를 예약하기 시작했습니다(슬픈 것은 그 중 하나가 항상 침대 위에 없었지만, 바 옆에 숨어서 아무도 수건을 만지지 않았는지 확인합니다 정말 슬프네요 ) 다시 머물고 싶지만 우리는 매년 같은 장소에 가는 것을 좋아하지 않습니다. 밖에는 크고 오래된 세계가 있고 그것을 볼 수 있는 시간은 짧습니다.

여기에 머물지 마십시오! 이 호텔이 어떻게 트립 어드바이저 상을 받았는지, 어떻게 그렇게 좋은 평가를 받았는지 이해가 되지 않습니다. 우리는 좋은 리뷰를 바탕으로 이것을 예약했는데 왜 그런지 모르겠습니다. 이것은 내가 머물렀던 최악의 올인클루시브 호텔은 아니더라도 최악 중 하나입니다. 나는 Shameless의 키프로스 판에 있는 것처럼 느꼈습니다. 낡고, 낡고, 초라하고, 다른 사람들도 있어요… 이런 🙄 자신에 대해 조금이라도 신경 쓴다면 여기 가지 마세요. 여기 온 걸 후회하게 될 거예요. 다른 곳에서 예약하세요!!

We arrived on opening day (3rd) and cannot fault a single thing! From the maids which were in every single day to the restaurant/bar staff which were very attentive. We were allocated room 306 and it was spotless with plenty of room for 2 children to run around. I have been going to this hotel for the last 25 years and never had a single issue. The food was fantastic as always and very well cooked. There was a good verity every night. As we were there very early in the season the dinner (lunch) was on a menu rather than the usual buffet however there was something for everyone and was perfect for us 2 adults a 5 year old and 1 year old. Pino was amazing as always even thought there was only a few other people there he carried on making everyone's holiday. Over the years we have been to multiple hotels in the paphos area from 5* to 3* and not one hotel can top this hotel. From receptionists to management everything single member of staff here are amazing and so polite. All in all we had amazing holiday and will definitely be back next year. Please do not listen to previous negative reviews when booking as these are clearly false the hotel is perfect for couples or families and the hotel staff will do absolutely anything in their power to make it perfect for you.

Can’t fault the weather, nice enough staff. As a vegetarian I wasn't keen on the cheese broccoli on offer every meal time, so ended up eating elsewhere on my own dime. Usual all inclusive where they only give you half a beer everytime, why not a pint? The local beaches feel mostly fenced off in paphos, and it was a bit of a walk to the resort related beach. Apartment was clean, bed comfortable. Otherwise no complaints.

Excellent family holiday, hotel was nice and clean, our room had 2 separate bedrooms which was a bonus. Cleaning staff daily done a fantastic job.3 pools to choose from with plenty of sunbeds for everyone. The Mama Mia restaurant was excellent with plenty to choose from.breakfast full English or continental, and also choice of ceral, toast,bakery. lunchtime and dinner time great choices again, with snacks from 3pm to 5pm. Drinks avalible all day from 10am till midnight. Only downside was no ice-cream included. Entertainment was fantastic 6 nights a week.

After reading some of the recent negative reviews, felt I should leave my opinion on our last visit to the Damon. This was our 3rd time staying here. Check in was quick and the lady was very friendly and helpful. We had a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the road. Room was spacious and clean, although the air con could possibly do with a clean maybe as it had a bad smell when it was on, especially when it was first turned on. Room was equipped with kettle /fridge , although the fridge didn’t stay on once the room card was removed, which meant you couldn’t leave milk or anything in there. Hotel hadn’t changed much from our last visit, some new faces on the staff, but some familiar faces too. We always use the pool at the back which is quieter, although this year the bar seemed to be permanently closed at this pool, maybe staffing levels?, but didn’t really matter to us anyway. Always plenty of sun loungers and lots of new ones added which was a nice touch. Food was great as always. Really don’t see what people’s bad reviews are about. The only slight disappointment this year from previous, is the puddings..as a bit of a cake lover, there definitely wasn’t the same choice as previous stays here..other than that, can’t really complain. Maybe people need to remember this is not a five star hotel when leaving poor reviews. Some people expect way too much for what they pay. The Damon is a very good 3 star though and we love it here! We have already booked our return to the Damon , thank you for a lovely holiday!

Good points Rooms are lovely and spacious be aware that there are no lifts in some buildings I was not aware, was put in the second floor four flights of stairs my husband has mobility issues, we were changed to a ground floor room the next day. We arrived very late, sandwiches were there for us which was a lovely idea but aubergine sandwiches were not for us. Staff amazing, very friendly and helpful, everywhere was spotlessly clean. Not good Entertainment! Even though the person hosting is entertaining there was mostly deal or no deal with bingo nearly every night, once followed by a fire show, karaoke once a singer one night no entertainment this really needs a shake up. Food Even though everything looked fresh there is only so much salad you can eat, as a vegetarian I struggled and we ate out a few times. Everyday it was a salad, pasta, potatoes, rice a fish and a chicken dish very repetitive. It was only the day before I was leaving I was told I could ask for something else a vegetarian nobody told me this before. My family are meat eaters and struggled with the repetitive limited buffet. As lovely as the hotel was I wouldn’t go back due to the entertainment and food sadly, location was an issue as my husband has mobility issues to go to a tidy beach as the one close isn’t the best it was costing a lot by taxi to go to coral bay which is beautiful. There is a bus stop very close for those that could catch a bus.

The food and drink was of the cheapest quality, smoking is aloud everywhere in the outside eating areas, bar staff are so unfriendly it's not believable, never saw the pool attendant near the pool side and when you did see him he had a cigarette in his hand, entertainment same every night, young kids were being given alcoholic drinks at the bar, books left behind by guests were being sold in the shop, this hotel is cheap for a reason it is so BAD save your hard earned cash and go somewhere else

This is the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The reception staff on arrival were friendly and helpful but that’s about the only good bit. The rooms, although equipped with everything we needed were very dated and looking at photos on here they haven’t had anything done to them for over 10 years. The blocks of rooms surround the pool, and it was like being in a prison with Block A, Block B, etc. Sunbeds were taken early in the morning by people who had come for sun and nothing else. The sunbeds looked uncomfortable and they were very dated made of cheap plastic. The food was awful. It was tepid at best. We complained to the rep and he said he had a long list of complaints about the temperature of the food but nothing had been done. We ended up eating cereals in the restaurant and then eating out at one of the many lovely restaurants nearby. Because of family reasons we had to cut our holiday short but if we hadn’t we would have been asked to move to another hotel.
