"Stayed at Jawa Aaramgah Resort expecting a luxury and secure experience, but what happened was honestly shocking. The resort had sent us an anniversary cake, which we saved for the morning. After returning from breakfast before checkout, we found it cut and half eaten inside our private villa. This clearly means someone entered our room without permission. What’s even more concerning is that we had our personal belongings and cash in our bags. Thankfully nothing was missing—but the real question is, what if it was? Is this the level of privacy and security being offered at a so-called luxury property? This is not just negligence, it’s a complete breach of trust and guest safety. It left us feeling uncomfortable and violated, and completely ruined what was meant to be a special celebration. Strongly disappointed. Would not recommend if you value your privacy or belongings."

"Gurha Safari camp, at Jawai was great, and there are lovely stone built bungalows now. We went on safari at around 4 - Our driver was great, and the jeeps are awesome! He took us to some fantastically beautiful places, and we kept ourselves to ourselves. But when we were in pursuit of Leopards, there were throngs of other jeeps zooming around the park with families packed into them, chasing each other around, BUT we saw two leopards from a distance at dusk - not the best imaginable sighting, but unforgettable just the same – and the stay at the Camp was most enjoyable, and well hosted. The village walk the following morning was a particular highlight too."

"RAAS Chhatrasagar is a wonderful little gem of a resort - beautiful lake setting, superb birdwatching and also some nilgai and antelopes. The tents are really luxury rooms right on the lake. The service is fantastic, the food is great and the atmosphere is very serene. The highlight is the naturalist led walks and boat rides to spot birds and wildlife. Our naturalist, Ali, has a PhD in ornithology and was fantastic - very knowledgeable, able to spot birds from a great distance and help educate us about them. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this resort!"
