Incredible hotel for skiing Val Gardena. Hotel staff drove us to/from the lift everyday, gave us our own ski locker with boot/glove warmers, and printed our lift passes for us. Also the amenities are fantastic for a nice sauna and swim after a long day of skiing. Amazing service from the staff.

Once one comes to the Alpin G it is difficult to leave. From the minute I woke up in the luxurious feather Pillows and started my day with a feast for breakfast I thought I was in a dream. The ski slopes were a few minutes From the hotel and also amazing ( wide prepared slopes ) . The hotel shuttle van was driven by Mosha who always had a Bright white smile waiting for us at the bottom of Susci gondola ( I would call always beforehand so as not to wait …) The hotel spa area with 2 swimming pools, jacuzzi, hamam, Sauna and Himalayan salt room were a super great tour I used Before daily massage ! The dinner menu was for all ,with a choice of 3 types dishes For each of the 5 gourmet courses. There was also a classic menu available to choose from. The wine cellar was superb with all my favourite wines, campagnes and prosecco’s. The bar also served before and after cocktails to die for ! I really want to congratulate and thank Marcus the owner for letting me experience his dream hotel. … until next time

We had a wonderful stay! The staff, food, spa, and location...all wonderful! A special thanks to Francesco! He made us feel at home and was a wonderful bartender!!! The varied dinners were such a treat and breakfast with a view....swoon!

Great hotel, staff and food. Amazing atmosphere and friendly owner. We spent such a amazing time there. The spa area made our time so special. I do recommend to come here during both winter and summer. Looking forward to come back one day.

I have stayed in many places in the world and this was one of the most enjoyable experiences/places I have had the pleasure to come across. If you want to feel spoiled, then choose Alpin Garden. The level of service was superb and each and every person I interacted with was kind, warm, and helpful. The rooms, the food, the pool, the spa, the team, the look, the terrace, everything was wonderful. I will return and would tell anyone to choose Alpin as their accommodation.

It was a fantastic stay! The rooms were large with a great balcony overlooking the mountains. The staff were all lovely and very welcoming, nothing was ever too much for them. The spa facilities were great, especially the outdoor pool. The town is a little walk away but you get given free bus passes so not an issue at all. Would 100% recommend to anyone and we will be coming back!

The venue is an artistic dream, the vision of its personable and colourful owner Marcus. It is equipped with everything you could need anytime of year, including outdoor and indoor pools and hot tub, gym, sauna, wellness centre, bar, restaurant and underground car park. The food is beautiful and the portions are large, the wine list is expertly curated and very reasonably priced. The personal service is unparalleled - Marcus befriends every guest and knows their name, and frequently cooks or waits tables. If the Dolomites is for you, then you must stay here at least once in your life.

Excellent getaway for a ski holiday, very personal service and attention, and indeed a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Great F&B, amazing beds (on the firm side, which I love rather than soft beds). Val Gardena does not have many ski-in/ski-out hotels, but the hotel van will quickly drive you and pick you up anywhere you like for skiing. The turkish sauna is thankfully as hot as they should be! Highly recommended hotel.

We were In trentino for 12 nights. San Cassiano, Selva, Ortisei and Merano. This hotel was the only really bad experience. This hotel is not in Ortisei. It's right outside the city limit, on the way to Santa Cristina. It's 20 more minutes walk downhill and 30 uphill. You can drive down but Ortisei is not a friendly parking area, so up to you. Bus is available. Not being regulars of the hotel or friends of the management /owner we were not treated fairly. They oversold our room category (a suite with balcony) and they couldn't give us what we booked. They said we were upgraded to a designer room which even if nicely decorated it was on the side of the hotel on the ground floor with zero privacy. As soon as we checked in the room a sun tanning shirtless tall man passes right in front of our room twice and looks inside (later when discussing the issue with owner Marcus the only thing I heard him caring to say that the man was his husband, like I could care less about his private life. Wife is unconfortable so we move out. We wanted privacy so we asked to change our room to what we booked. We were told at the reception that no rooms were available, only an inferior category double in the back of the building, we refused. Told us to wait for the director. The director arrives, offers a different room on the 4th floor and tells us that this is the room we booked (now all the sudden the room is available, mmmmm.......). We later found out that that we were lied to, that was not the room we booked, that was the room originally suggested by the reception staff, lie after lie. We were charged fully with only 50 EUR discount for 3 nights total and no apologies ever. That was not the difference in price between the two room categories. The last day after pointing out that the breakfast table was not properly assigned (all guest's table have their name on it, not for us, someone else name is on our table for the second morning in a row) instead of receiving some overdue apologies I was loudly confronted by the owner in front of all guests. We decided to accelerate our checkout and left. By the way... if you are driving and staying during high season you will have hard time parking. Not enough parking spots in the hotel. To conclude the professionalism of this property's management is questionable, the owner Marcus for sure has a lot to learn. That is the only really bad thing about this property, as mentioned by other reviewers with 1 or 2 stars. We believe they should hire a seriously big chain hotels experienced director to run operations and Mr. Marcus shoud just stay at the hotel as a gust with his friend and family. We believe there are many other Hotel options in Ortisei to choose from, you might luckly skip a bad experience at Alpine Garden.
