"I stayed recently in one of the beach houses, upon entry i was greeted with dirty walls, filthy oven, crumbs still on the bench tops from previous occupants, dust, the feel of gritty sand under foot, blood splatter on one of the pillows, broken blinds. I should have walked out and demanded my money back, yes my mistake. I was contacted by email a few days later asking me how i enjoyed my stay, after telling of my disappointment i received and email from manager Mathew Wooldridge making excuses that it had been a busy season and that if i felt my stay had been so disappointing i should contact him to discuss a refund. I have now called twice and still no reply to my calls. I WILL NEVER BE BACK and NEVER RECOMMEND!!!"

"What a find! An amazing quirky but beautifully appointed space! Honestly in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney you would pay $600+ a nite! Our host Steve was amazing and we honestly couldn’t fault our room (Bowie theme 😍) Our room was just amazing, super Comfy bed and just so well designed. We stayed one night on a Monday so the bar/ restaurant wasn’t t open but we went to an amazing Thai in town called SAI, right next to Cole’s. The food was incredible."
