Charming Boutique Hotel! The only reason I have rated Service as Good is because our experience at the Lamp Hotel started off on the wrong foot, thanks to Cecelia behind the front desk. Our initial conversation with her was so awkward and rude, we just looked at each other shocked that she was so unprofessional:( She was so rude to us upon entering the hotel. We politely asked if we could try to check in early. She looked us up and down head to toe with such an off putting attitude and did not even reciprocate in conversation when we asked other questions. Another couple came into the lobby right after us, and she immediately shifted her conversation to them, leaving us standing there speechless, as she began a conversation with them in Swedish. We had arrived so tired, but so excited, as my friend had already stayed at The Lamp Hotel, and had filled me in on how great the hotel was. Cecelia was not warm or friendly to us from the get go, nor accommodating to even offer to take our luggage to store until check in. We had to ask her to do this for us, and my friend literally had to ask her her name about 2 times, before she would acknowledge her question or look in our direction as we asked her questions. We had just traveled 9 hours by flight from the US, and her attitude and personality was not welcoming in any way. We thought we had made a huge mistake booking at the Lamp because of her. We were so glad we did not have to see her again during our whole stay. She was terrible and needs training on empathy, people skills, and basic hospitality. She may not be the best option for behind the front desk as the first point of contact for your hotel. Now once we got past this terrible welcome, we enjoyed our stay so much. The hotel and rooms were gorgeous. The rest of the staff were lovely. The entire hotel is clean, sexy and wonderful! The location is wonderful, the lobby is so chic. The spa is GREAT. The bathrooms are spacious and lovely. I enjoyed my picture window, the tasteful decor and all little details. Housekeeping is PERFECTION. I did breakfast each morning and the kitchen and staff there are INCREDIBLE. They all deserve raises. They were hustling, serving, cleaning, and just a vision of unity and of how to run a kitchen:) The way they all worked and got on so well with each other, was so nice to see. Overall, besides our rude welcome thanks to Cecelia, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and WOULD stay again. I plan to go back and stay with my husband when we visit Sweden later this year.

The hotel should be classified as adult hotel as the pool , gym and hotel premises cannot be enjoyed by people who are younger than 16. Quite expensive hotel , we booked for Easter holiday for teenagers to enjoy the pool by paying quite high price but as we arrived we learned the 16 years old age restriction.. -7 degrees outside.. and just sit down in the hotel room. Breakfast was too poor.. so overall price quality balance was way too disappointing. Adults may enjoy spa by paying extra fee .Even for the pool hotel guests need to pay extra fee .. which was quite strange and extraordinary ..

Wonderful hotel! Amazing staff, cocktails and food (in both restaurants)! The spa was amazing, relaxing and clean. Everything was perfect. The hotels location is placed in the center, everything is close by. I will come back again to The Lamp Hotel!

This hotel is amazing! I can’t say enough about it! From the spa to the breakfast spread, to the chef for dinners and all the staff, it is the must place to stay, eat and be pampered! You will not be disappointed and I’m speaking from over 55 countries of experience.

Horrible experience staying here. I am writing this review at 12:30 AM completely exhausted and frustrated. We stayed the night with our two-year-old after a full day at Kolmarden so that we would be rested for our 3-hour drive home the next day. There was music BLASTING at the hotel restaurant when we checked in, and we are now being told it won't stop until 1 AM despite them telling us at check in that it would stop at 9 PM. We've made multiple requests to at least turn the music down with no success. Absolutely outrageous as all we wanted was a night of rest and are already sleep deprived coming into this stay. On top of that, they only gave us a single key due to a "key shortage", which becomes an issue when you need a key to turn the power on in the room. This means no one can leave the room without shutting the power off. There is no phone in the room, and calling the hotel via cell phone doesn't work either. The parking garage is incredibly sketchy. It is hardly the width of a car, and once you enter the garage code, you have a very short window to actually drive in before the door closes. There are tons of paint scrapes on either side showing where people have damaged their cars trying to park there. I completely regret staying here and could not be more disappointed.

We stayed 1 night on our way to Stockholm The hotel is perfect, clean, convenient and then breakfast is perfect. The team very kind and welcoming.

5 star. Fabulous spa, beyond amazing food, wonderful staff and comfortable super clean room. Can recommend highly enough. Over experience is just fabulous! Super cool vibe. Location great. 5 mins walk to station.

Everything about this hotel is 5 star. Highly recommended from the top quality staff who were friendly and helpful to the best hotel gym I have experienced. Breakfast was divine and the rooms are beyond comfortable.
