Travelodge Newbury Tot Hill

After a week on the Isle of Wight and an evening function on the way home the Newbury Tot Hill Travelodge was a lovely stopover!

A night's stay to break up long journey. Having stayed at Tot Hill many times before we did not hesitate to book again. Quiet, clean and comfortable.

Tidy enough for work purposes. Bit on the pricy side for what it is. But all good. Thank you. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Comfortable and clean room, all we needed for an overnight stop. Friendly and helpful staff, great location for us mid way between home in East Anglia and Plymouth. Minor ******* were no towels (soon rectified) and a temperamental toilet. The dawn chorus is great if you wake up early enough !

Stayed here a few time as a stop off travelling to Portsmouth Mandy the supervisor was really nice and welcoming Good value for the money

We had some amazing customer service by Jayne and Ali when we had to come in late at night. They helped us a lot with a tough time and getting us in so we could have a nice trip. They went above and beyond what we could have expected in that situation

Every year, since 2020, my partner and I take part in a Live Action Roleplay system held in the nearby woodland. In short, we dress up like fantasy characters and gad about the forest on adventures. Great fun. This travelodge has been our resting place of choice in all that time - and we have gladly shared our positive experiences of it with others in the system. We arrive at odd times, often aching and sore from the day, and the beds and showers and local amenities (not to mention a staff who have pu up with our chicanery very politely, if bemusedly!) have been a godsend.

2 mornings in a row there was no hot water. It was hot in the sink, but not in the shower. Also room was not cleaned after first night.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly welcome by Adeel at the check-in desk. Process was a breeze and he carefully explained everything we needed to know. Room was clean and beds super comfy! (really needed after a 6 hour drive) Thank you Adeel and the Newbury Tot Hill team!
