Moxy Brooklyn Williamsburg

Great location, trendy new hotel. Loved the free ‘grab and go’ breakfast. Rooms are very small with very few places to put anything even with the sink in the bedroom. I’d say better for couples or solo travellers than families.

I loved the hotel, the vibe and the people

객실은 작았지만 깨끗하고 낡은 느낌이 들지 않았으며 상당히 새로운 개조 공사를 거쳤습니다. 욕실에 팬이 없는 등 여기저기에 몇 가지 작은 것들이 있습니다. 우리는 위층에 있었지만 여전히 클럽에서 희미한 음악/베이스를 듣거나 느꼈습니다. 위치가 좋고, 물건을 찾기 쉬우며, NY 호텔에 비해 가격이 적당합니다.

Great hotel. Love the energy in the lobby. rooms are small but it’s NYC, and the room design is such that everything has a place with the notable exception of someplace to set your suitcase. I hate putting my dirty suitcase on the bed to unpack it but there’s no other spot large enough.

The hotel had great vibes, with excellent service. The room was pretty small, so make sure you're very comfortable with the person you're traveling with. There are plenty of great bars & restaurants in the area.

I stayed in a room with a double bed and it was really nice; the only odd thing was the restroom and shower design not really providing privacy for us as guests, though other than that, the hotel room was great and the hotel itself is really nice, staff is kind and helpful, and both the bar and restaurant are great. Would definitely recommend staying if you're looking to be in the Williamsburg area; also go to the wine bar Sauced, which is about a two block walk. It felt like a home away from home type bar.

Food is a challenge. Bar is a subprime space for eating the breakfasts yet is the only place available. Its a very uncomfortable area, yet youre forced to go there often.

Nothing I say here is exaggerated. We were so hopeful the Moxy would be our "go to" hotel as it is close to our daughter's apartment. I won't stay at Moxy again unless there are no other options or I am traveling solo. The developers squeezed every square centimeter of space out of the hotel in order to pack as many rooms into the space as possible. Rooms are puny even by NY standards. The "bathroom" was a toilet stall, a shower stall, and a sink in the room itself. So really, there is no bathroom...zero bathroom privacy. I used the Fitness Center bathroom and saw another guest doing the same! A puny half-closet. No drawers except under the bed - you have to get down on your hands and knees to use them. The lobby is always crowded with so many people for the space you get pinballed around. Our check in was delayed. We waited in line three times to keep checking if the room was ready. HVAC in the room was stuck at Heat-74 degrees. The first night was so hot we opened the window and that amplified the noise from the close-by Train. The Building Engineer fixed it but it stuck again before we checked out. No refrigerator or in-room coffee/tea. Lobby coffee free but a charge for tea. Our daughter was getting married and came to our room the wedding day to get ready...but decided to get ready at her apartment because the room was so claustrophobic. The developers squeezed the rooms and the space so much that it was dehumanizing. People just deserve more room.

Perfect hotel for a couples city break. Much more chic than Moxy’s I’ve stayed in before. There is so much to eat, drink and shop on your doorstep, and getting into Manhattan is a breeze with 2 stations super close by. Would urge you to book a city view room as lying in bed watching the sunrise on Manhattan was pretty special.
