"Arrived late but security at the gate was awesome… room received not worth the cost even on a budget… bath towels had stains….. no wifi… Ac in the first room wasn’t working and had to change room on the second day of a 2 night stay.. second room was a bit more comfortable… front desk wasn’t bad….."

"Its a small property recently refurbished and located on the beach.Rooms are well appointed with very comfortable bed. Bathrooms have very attractive decor with good shower and adequate toiletries. A nice touch was the make up towel! Staff are pleasant and courteous from gate security, reception to restaurant waitresses. Had the vegan callaloo for breakfast and it was delicious! Oatmeal was enjoyable too. Blended fruit punch was just right- flavourful and not too sweet. Didn't have dinner so can't comment on that but restaurant service was a bit slow. Met the Owner and she was very warm and personable. Would definitely recommend and will be back."

"attempted to rip me off to stay during the storm, first, they never returned my messages about getting stuck in Jamaica. so i came the office 2 times with no resolution. So Icall them the night before I check out at 6-7pm, and they say Sorry we can't offer you a room! So I try to leave and fly out, and LONG story short, I come back PRIOR to my check out time 9am - to regroup and find shelter. So they come and say - ok we have a room- I think they will do it at the same or less rate I paid... ohhh no - they tried to charge me 200 American per night!!!!"

"I visit Negril monthly and stay here. It’s not super modernized, but it’s reasonably priced, right on the beach, and has 2 restaurants (1 is open 24 hours) on the beach front, which adds to the convenience. You also get daily housekeeping. I would recommend for travelers who are cost-conscious and want convenience."

"The perfect vacation for our family. We came with our 3 grown boys and their girlfriends and loved every minute. We had 3 between us. We wake up to a beautiful view of the beach and the ocean and have coffee and breakfast with the friendly helpful staff. There’s a beautiful swimming area where you can float or swim or take out the paddle boards or kayaks. We had use of the sports club up the road, and a few of the crew worked out almost every day. We did some great excursions, but one of our favorites was to the sister property Idle a While on the cliffs. It’s located almost in the center of the 7 mile beach so it’s fun to walk up and down the beach for dinner or Music or take a quick taxi ride to the cliffs to one of the amazing restaurants. This is our third time at Idle a While and we will be back again. It is very clean and safe and beautiful. Special thanks to beautiful Claudia, Anthony, Ilie and Hopeton for making us feel at home. And we loved yhe resident kitty."

"Absolutely had the best time at Rock House! There is not one thing I didn't love, and would recommend it in a heartbeat. Our room was the least expensive, and while small, met our needs. One day I'd love to stay in one of the villas overlooking the sea! Housekeeping was excellent. The grounds are expansive and the cliffside views and access to the water is amazing. You can just sit on a lounge chair all day looking out over the water. The staff is all gracious and wonderful. The guests are from all over, and everyone was kind and friendly. Rock House throws in a little extra something every day - one day a complimentary short massage, another day was free drinks by the pool, and every day we enjoyed happy hour from 5-6 p.m. Sunsets were awesome. Location was great and we walked to nearby restaurants - Sips and Bits, Ericka's, and Xtabi. Had breakfast at Rock House which was tasty. The location allowed us to get out and support more local businesses."
