Overall, not a great experience. We have stayed at lsimilar hotels with the IGH hotel chains, and this hotel was very like it in the style and set up. Although very disappointed for various reasons. The parking set up was confusing and left little direction on how to navigate the garage or how exactly the ticket situation would work. Once we finally parked on a level 2, we couldn’t get into the building from that level without a key card. The lobby was on the 1st floor and the elevator on the 2nd level only went up so we had to walk the whole garage with our luggage out to the front down into level 1, to even get to the lobby. Upon checking in the receptionist was initially kind in greeting us, but then proceeded to give me a hard time for making “demands”, as she put it. Multiple times, over and over again. I tried to use the Marriott app on our drive in, to do early check in. I received an email to do this. It was not a functional app and gave me no way to check in. It promoted me to ask for “requests” or “accommodations” and I selected all my items for towels, bath mats, and a blanket. Which I was confused by as these are items normally in the rooms. Again, I was promoted by the app to do so. I ended up waiting to check in, in person. The receptionist would not let it go, that I apparently asked way too much of her by requesting these items be in my room and continued to laugh and talk over me while I tried to explain how the app didn’t work.
