"We booked the three-bedroom “Presidential Cottage” at Faletti’s Hotel Naran for approximately 115,000 per night through the WeTravel tour agency. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and nowhere near what we expected for this price. The cottage was located right near the entrance gate, so I am honestly not sure what made it “presidential.” It certainly was not because of the view, room size, facilities, privacy, or overall experience. Although the hotel is technically located on Saif-ul-Malook Road, reaching it requires entering a narrow street behind another hotel, which was quite inconvenient. To be fair, the staff were well-mannered, welcoming, well-spoken, and appeared professional. However, after a long journey, my wife was very upset with the location, the small rooms, the limited facilities, and the amount we were being charged. Our driver suggested that we look at another nearby hotel. I am glad I mustered up the energy to visit it because we found a spacious three-bedroom apartment with excellent facilities, a far better location, and a fabulous view. We therefore returned to Faletti’s within approximately one hour, collected our luggage, and moved to the other hotel. The biggest shock came when Faletti’s refused to refund the payment because we had already “checked in,” even though we checked out within an hour. The front desk confirmed that Faletti’s had offered this portion of the Presidential Cottage for approximately 103,000–104,000, while we had paid around 115,000 through the travel agency. We had specifically paid the additional amount believing that booking through the agency would provide some flexibility if our plans changed. Our travel agent later informed us that Faletti’s policy does not allow refunds after check-in, even when a guest leaves within an hour. This condition should have been clearly explained by either the hotel or the travel agent before check-in. Neither informed us, and finding out only after we decided to leave was a major disappointment. My advice is not to rely entirely on promotional videos or photographs shared by travel agents. Ask for recent, unedited videos of the exact room or cottage being offered, and obtain the cancellation and refund policy in writing before making payment or checking in. Overall, this property did not provide value for money in our experience. Better rates, more spacious accommodation, a more convenient location, and far superior views are available at other hotels in Naran. Do not choose it merely because of the brand name."

"One of the best hotels in Pakistan's northern areas is the Maisonette Hotel, which I have personally visited. It was a tremendous journey of my life I will ever remember. I have experienced a neat, clean environment and state-of-the-art rooms. I would strongly recommend the travel lovers visit the hotel once."
