엘리시움 가든 힐 리조트(Elysium Garden)

Stopped here for a light lunch, the restaurant is at the back of the building so no views. Staff were friendly enough. Sadly, kitchen staff don't really understand the concept of sandwiches. We ordered 2 soups, 4 different sandwiches and 2 portions of fries. The soup and fries arrived first. Then a cheese and tomato sandwich arrived, on burned toast, topped with cucumber and cherries! An egg sandwich arrived a few minutes later, fried egg on burned toast with the same toppings. A chicken sandwich arrived 5 minutes later, shredded chicken, loads of onion and mayo on toast. And finally the club sandwich arrived...6 slices of toast, 2 with chicken and onion, 2 with cheese and mushrooms and 2 with cucumber and tomato!! And all plates came with additional fries, the waiter should have said! The menu doesn't make it clear that the sandwiches are toasted and chef should ensure they are not all burned. Service was slow and staggered. Not somewhere that I could recommend for a light lunch.

This hotel has good location and prompt and helpful staff. Food arrangements (breakfast & Dinner) were tasty. But it is infested with cockroaches. Paper thin walls bring noises from adjacent rooms, corridor as well as roof. Smell in bathrooms.

It was one of the worst experience one can have in a hotel. I booked a hill view executive room and they gave me view of big tree and very slight peek of mountain. When I asked to change my room, they gave me one with better view but it was the worst room I have ever stayed in. It has very bad quality curtains, very old and broken furniture, shower was broken and leaking, and to make things worst when I tried calling reception, I realised there is no landline phone in my room. I just wanted something special and I got the worst. I won't recommend this hotel / resort to anyone. You will get better option with better price and better quality room. Stay away from Elysium Garden hill resort

One of the best located hotels in Munnar. Service, food, rooms and amenities were all average for a 3 star property. Front facing balcony rooms and the cottages have great views of the valley. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall experience was good.

Waste of money luckily I booked one night only I pay 4000 rupees for one night , Room is just ok without AC and no fan also But the worst thing is there lotz of cockroaches all over the room even they eat our baby’s cookies and the other stuf , ***** this THE HOLE NIGHT THERE IS WALKING SOUND COMING FROM THE ROOF LIKE DUM DUM DUM DUM UNTIL THE 3 am !!!!!!!!!!!!!! , VERY POOR NIGHT STAY I CALL RECEPTIONIST BUT NO RESPONSE. don’t STAY THERE I felt better we can sleep in roads useless hotel !!!!!! Apart from this we need wait 30 mins and also you need to waste the 30 mins of water to get hot water it’s doesn’t make sense totally waste of money !!!!!!!!! But I was lucky to choose the another hote the next day in the middle of munnar at 2000 rupees with cooler and perfect hot water and very good food also we stayed there one week I FEEL ELYSIUM IS ONE THE WORST HOTEL IN MUNNAR !!!!!!!!!

Very good resort in munnar. Almost all amenities available in working condition. Hotel staff is very polite and co operative. Restaurant staff is best. You will get punjabi dishes in this resort. Property view and location is very good. 5 out 5

Very spacious and clean rooms. The staff is very attentive and the food is exceptional. We requested a guide for the day and explored ***y of the attractions that Munnar has to offer. The price and location make this a great deal. The hotel is in need of some updates, couldn’t change my phone and hot water only tepid, but all in all fabulous. I loved how open the rooms are. The bed is very comfortable with exquisite sheets. Above all, the staff is extremely efficient and accommodating.

We (two families with a kid) stayed in Executive room in Elysium Garden from 27-28 May 2022. I am a frequent traveler to Munnar and have stayed in 15-20 resorts/hotels at Munnar. This hotel is situated in Munnar-Mattupetty route. We had made the booking by directly contacting the hotel and were offered Executive room for INR 3500/room on breakfast complementary plan. First of all, this is just a hotel and not a resort. After the check-in procedures, we moved to the hotel elevator to go to our room which was in the first floor. But then the hotel boy asked us to come out of the hotel and we were guided to another building in the same compound. We had to walk through a narrow passage which contained garbage and then climb stair to reach our room (photo attached). Outside the room, there was a plate containing left over food from the previous occupant (photo attached). It was a congested room. There was no switch board near the door so we had to get over the bed to switch on the lights (photo attached). This was the first time I am seeing an extension cable in a hotel room to charge devices (photo attached). Went to bathroom to take a shower and the shower valve came off (photo attached). The pillows were stinky. Photos of the pillows also attached. The hotel had promised hot water at 7 AM but was not available. Could not sleep because of the sound of the exhaust fan from adjacent room. We had expected at least a good buffet breakfast from restaurant which also did not happen. The food was below average and the restaurant staff hardly cared to our requirements. Do not get fooled by the images uploaded by the hotel. The actual room does not come anywhere close to the images. We had informed our strong dissatisfaction to the receptionist at the time of check-out to which she didn’t utter a word. There are better places to stay at Munnar in the same budget. T&U resort is 500 mtrs away from Elysium Gardens and a good place to stay. I have stayed there previously. Rooms available from INR 3700/room with complimentary breakfast. I would also recommend grand plaza hotel where we had stayed from 13-15 May 2022 for INR 2800/room with complimentary breakfast. So better to stay away from Elysium Gardens.

Nice experience. Very friendly and responsible staff. Nice ambience. The outdoor views were not that great. But you get what you pay for. Also the food was nice. I recommend booking directly at the hotel, since it is way cheaper than prices shown at online apps.
