Everything is poor except the location (which is right in the heart of town). Everything dirty, especially the bathroom. Blocked drain smell. No hot water over 2nights (not even tepid) Wifi only available in reception We ran out of toilet roll and asked the staff to replace them, but they didn’t.

Don't stay in the hotel even if they pay you! We stayed in this hotel on Friday 8th November and 9th November. Bathrooms were smelly as if drainage is open. Towels were torn. Fans were not working properly either it would run on full speed or not run at all. Food is pathetic. Not many options for dinner as well as for lunch. We had to identify whether has tomato, cucumber in it or was just watery curd. Even after telling staff there was no improvement. Rotis were so stiff, that it could barely be eaten by human. Many of us were on rice and avoided rotis. Crispy veg was not at all crispy. Staff indifferent to needs of customers. No differentiation for veg and non veg food. Oily food. I got throat infection after eating it. Not at all 4star hotel. Barely a two star...

It was great stay at eastend hotel.Food was so delicious and staff were so amiable and courteous..we would recomend to our friends and family.Seriouly one the best hotel in munnar.During the stay my mind was so relaxed because of the hospital.

The most relaxing 2 Night stay in all of Kerala, on this trip! It's not just the fabulous weather in Munnar, the scenic grandeur of this magnificent place, but the comfortable stay and enjoyable staff interactions at this lovely property, that makes for total bliss! The people here were simply great, the Reception Team went out of their way to accommodate requests to keep us all close together in rooms within the same floor, but the best was the hospitality extended by the Restaurant Manager, Mr. Regi and his wonderful Team! Even though the buffet menu was set, he took the trouble to discuss with the Chef and Team to prepare for us traditional Keralan dishes, that were tantalizing and sumptuous, perhaps because they were made with love! Dishes like Ela Ada, Pazhampodi, Appams and Stew, etc., were great, but the best was definitely the Kerala Style Beef, in a word, awesome! Thank you Mr. Regi, we highly appreciate all that you did to make us comfortable and feel at home in Munnar - looking forward to visiting and staying with you'll again, soon, with my family! :)

We came here on a group booking and didn't have high expectations but it wasn't very special. In particular the drains smelt terribly after the shower had been used, although it was was good sized with lots of hot water. Staff were pleasant enough and supper buffet style was good but this being the holiday season the restaurant was full of local families making lots of noise. Breakfast was a strange affair with hot drinks served from a window in the tiniest of paper mugs which were near impossible to carry. Reception were kind enough to find me some ice for my swollen ankle. Like other hotels they seem to have a problem in providing two hand towels for two people sharing a room, although you do get two bath towels.

We were not staying here, but we decided to have lunch at their restaurant. As we walked in most tables were unoccupied, so we selected a table near the billing counter. There were five or six waiters and staff members near the counter talking. They saw us and continued to talk amongst themselves. None of them came over to take our order.We sat there for about five minutes without being attended to. Then one of the waiters left the group and we thought he was coming towards us, but too our surprise he went to another table and started clearing up. At this point we called out to him and asked him what the problem was. Then without a word he went and brought us a menu card, which he just left at our table. At which point, we had had enough and decided not to eat there at all. This whole experience left a bad taste in the mouth and we got the feeling that these guys did not care for any business. This review is as much for the other travelers like us as for the owners of this restaurant to let them know how their staff treats customers,
