The Silvertips

Hotel is located near downtown Munnar and walkable to shops and church but due to heavy rain, we couldn't walk. Also too much traffic and hence didn't feel safe. Hotel itself has movie theme with all rooms having a movie theme from a bollywood or Hollywood or tollywood movie. Rooms are basic with a balcony overlooking the tea plantations and town centre. Bathroom had a powerful shower. Our biggest disappointment was the hotel restaurant which seemed more like a school canteen. Needs refurbishment and lighting needs to be redone to make it a pleasant environment to dine in. Also food choice is very limited. Also my partner got sick after eating a paneer curry for lunch at the hotel's restaurant and had severe vomiting all evening. I was ill too with similar symptoms and heard one other person in our group had stomach issues too. Hotel has a small bar which served beer and wine at very reasonable prices. Hotel has an indoor pool but whenever I tried to go, it was always locked. Another issue with this hotel is that rooms are designed in a courtyard format. Hence in evenings it seemed very noisy especially when a group of youngsters checked in on our 2nd evening. Even after complaining to reception, the noise continued for an hour or two. On the whole we were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel

I’m in lack of words to describe my stay here, thrilled in every way, from the moment we passed the gate, till my last 4th day, this is one of the experiences you recall with a smile on your face, I’m very grateful to all the people there, it was a wonderful stay.

We stayed two nights.hotel is located main city centre. Rooms are good but bathrooms having dirty smell and not cleaned. Waiting for hot water long time.nice food service and restaurant ambience. There is no sightseeing arrangements. So the security person cheated us.he brought 4500 rupees from me and arranged jungle safari but it's unworthy they take to us Normal sightseeing.i think it costes 2500 only.he had tips from safari driver. I searched him last but couldn't find in duty.hotel must arrange sightseeing for the guest. If it involving third party result is like that. Except this overall sabse badiya

It was great stay at silvertips munnar!! Cinematic theme was soo fascinating.. And we loved staying there. Food was so delicious and staffs were soo amiable and courteous..we would recommend to our friend &family.God Bless you dear team silvertips ❤️

Irresponsible Reception staffs and service. I told the night shift guy regarding wake up calls. But we didn't get the calls. So my entire plans changed due to that person.a short lady handling guests shared wrong information regarding national park. So we missed a good place. Lot of confusions at the time of chcek out. We are waiting for our invoices around 20 mins. Front desk staffs need lot of training.Need to do lot of improvements Atlast securities are waiting for something. Thank you

Very worst experience with front office desk peoples. I paid excess and when I asked for refund the refuse to pay in cash and said we will gpay to you as you did online payment. Two days I am following with them and there is no proper response from them. Till now no refund happened. Guys don't pay excess and get in trouble like me. The guy who booked my rooms in munnar he is seating in Kochi and he said he will check. When I called for next day not even picking up phone. Trust worthiness.
