'We were visiting friends in the Mt Dora area and they told us to try this historic beauty. The building was lovely. Staff was welcoming and efficient. The room was fine for an old structure with beautiful decor. Unfortunately, the floor in our room along with the bed and even the sink faucets were squeaky which got annoying. I guess old allows squeaky but it got annoying. We did not try the restaurant because we were visiting our friends but it looked lovely and you could dine indoors or on their front porch with a view of Lake Dora. We would stay here again on a future visit. Only reason for my 4 rating was the squeaks but probably no way around that on a wood structure this old,'

'Service was great, they allowed me to check in hrs early. After working the night before, I was very tired and had a sire knee I needed to get off of. I was extremely grateful when the clerk said I could check in early. Thank you choice inn for looking out for me, I appreciate you, and Mt Dora's clerk in particular.'

Our Bungalow on Baker Street has been a favorite destination since 2014. Private Bungalow on a 1/4-acre lot has been beautifully redecorated and fully modernized. Located in the heart of Mt. Dora on a picturesque and quiet street. It is just a 5-minute walk (0.4) to downtown and all shops. It is 2 bedrooms; one has a queen bed and the other is full size. Also, we have a full-size sleeper sofa. Small dogs are allowed with prior approval. No parties or events allowed. You will love our newly remodeled home. We wanted to have the modern updates but keep that wonderful charm that made us fall in love with this town. Cozy up in our living room to watch a movie, or a favorite show on the 50 inch Roku TV, or enjoy a good read in the comfort of a reading area in 1 of our 2 spacious bedrooms. Our updated kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The bathroom has a wonderful spacious shower with complimentary shampoo/conditioner, body wash, and a few extra essentials just in case you're in need. You will have the option of a night in and BBQ enjoy the sitting area and having a cold beverage. Listen to music on our Bluetooth Rock Speakers. This house is just minutes away from Downtown with plenty of places to eat a wonderful little shops. You can also enjoy great Eatery, Bar & Grill and even Antique shopping just 5 blocks away. You can take a morning walk around this lovely quiet neighborhood and listen to the sounds of nature. You will love your stay. Unfortunately, due to allergies, we are no longer a pet stay property. There will be an automatic $100 fee for a deep cleaning. Hubbel House is located 2 blocks away from Donnelly Park, 6 blocks to sunset at Lakeside Inn. Eat at any of Mount Dora's wonderful restaurants or stay in and cook in the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy cocktail hour in your own rocking chair on the spacious porch. This two bedroom two bath bungalow is located on private lot with free on-site parking. Families welcome. Enjoy this lakeside, festival town with year round sunshine. 30 min from Orlando/Disney.
The space
Generous living space. Fully equipped kitchen. Smart TV. Washer and dryer. 2 full baths, including tub. King bed in one bedroom. Second bedroom has full bunk on bottom, twin bunk on top, and twin trundle. Pack n Play available in guest room closet. Large front porch with swing, back porch has outdoor dining table.
Guest access
1. The Hubbell House is the blue house set back from the main street (5th Ave, behind the purple house). Please use the driveway between the purple house and the mailboxes. Follow the gravel driveway and park at the rear entrance to the house. 2 cars will likely fit. The driveway is shared, please do not block the driveway and no parking on the grass. The parking spots in front of the house do not belong to Hubbell House.
2. A right out of the house will take you directly into the heart of Mount Dora. 5 min or less to the start of the festivals. Approx 10 min walk to the lakefront. Enjoy the Sunshine state in our charming and peaceful home near some of Florida's best attractions! We like our guests to feel like family! We find our home to be very peaceful and in a safe neighborhood featuring the following amenities:
- Newly renovated 1400+ square foot home with 2 full baths, including 1 bath with a walk-in shower, 1 bath with a tub/shower combo, hair dryer, kitchen with newer stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, electric stove and oven, huge refrigerator/freezer, microwave), faux wood flooring and more! Newly furnished with a European meets Southern charm decorating style that is both inviting and cozy and everything you might need for cooking; coffee and coffee pot provided.
- 3 large and spacious bedrooms each with a queen size bed, including a Purple #2 mattress, and Dream Cloud mattress with adjustable frame to raise your head. Sleeps 6.
- Great OUTDOOR living space with a nice size pool under a lanai, table and chairs under a porch roof, lounge chairs around the pool and an outside grill for grilling your favorite meal!
- Laundry facilities including washer, dryer, and iron/ironing board for your use
- Central air conditioning, heat and room air purifier
- WIFI and 2 SMART/Roku Televisions, one in family room is a large 65" TV; the other in the master bedroom with a large selection of DVD movies

Relax in this spacious 3-2 POOL home! Lots of room for the whole family! Stainless steel appliances, pot and pans, silverware, and coffee maker. Large TV in the living room and private tv’s in each bedroom. The master bed room has a private bath with shower, large closet, and a King size bed. The second bedroom had a King size bed as well, large closet and a shared bath. The third bedroom had a full size bed, and a bunk bed with a large closet and shared bath. The shared bath has a double sink and a tub/shower. The extra family room has a futon pull out for extra sleeping accommodations . Arcade games located in the extra family room and a air hockey game in the garage for the kids. Washer and dryer available in the garage. Screened in pool and gated backyard for your private shaded backyard oasis. Back yard is enclosed, and we have extra boat and trailer parking on the left side of the front of the home. 1 mile from all that Mount Dora has to offer. Whimsical boutiques, antique shops, outdoor cafes, parks, and our close access to the full chain of lakes. Mt Dora is only 45 minutes from Lake Buena Vista (Disney and Epcot), Universal Studios Florida and its Islands of Adventure and CityWalk dining/shopping/nightlife triumvirate; plus SeaWorld Orlando, accompanied by Discovery Cove and Aquatica water park. But don’t let the turnstiles box you in. International Drive, Pointe Orlando and the Mall at Millennia has tons of shopping, dining and entertainment. Spreading from downtown, trendy neighborhoods like Thornton Park and South Eola with original eateries and nightlife nooks.
Race fans: Daytona Beach is only an 1 1/2 hour drive. Daytona International Speedway and the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America are a great destination. Come during the Daytona 500 or spring family beach break and enjoy Daytona Beach’s swimming, and surfing. Since 1996, the World's Largest FREE 3-Day Motorcycle and Music Event is held in Historic Downtown Leesburg which is a few miles away! The Leesburg Bike Fest is be packed with live entertainment, demonstrations, shows and contests. Hundreds of friendly retail shops and vendors will be open for your shopping pleasures. Another exciting town, only minutes away, is Tavares. The Tavares Seaplane Base & Marina is a seaplane airport and recreational boating marina located on the Lake Dora waterfront in the heart of Wooton Park, which offers a water park for the little ones and lots of waterfront restaurants while watching the sea planes take off! This is only a small sample of what Florida has to offer. With all our water ways, boating and fishing is close by. Our home is located a few walkable blocks from a walking path around one of our lakes for a breezy afternoon stroll.
