"Our stay at Return Africa's camp in the Pafuri concession near Kruger National Park was incredible and exactly what we were going to experience. The personal touch provided by staff to all of their guests was incredible and unlike any experience that I've ever had. My 3 day stay was in November 2025. Beyond the personal level of service provided by the staff, the facilities were really nice. Our "standard tent" included a beautiful room with indoor and outdoor showers and a private toilet. All of their rooms overlook the river she have incredible views. Our guide, Andile, was great and each guest is assigned to a guide for the duration of their stay when possible. Birding is clearly a primary activity and specialty for the guides. But there are also many large game available to be seen (I believe everything except lions and rhinos are typically present in the region). I booked massages while on site which were great and a really nice way to spend a portion of the day between game drives. Our drives were from 530 to 9 or 930 am each day. We also had a 2nd drive from 430 to 7 pm each day. Each drive included a tea or happy hour stop with light snacks. Meal options were incredible with numerous menu items to select from. The staff take great pride not only in the quality of the food, but in the culinary experience provided to each guest. Regarding tipping... While the guidelines suggest tipping all of the staff at once at the end of the stay, I asked for clarification and confirmed that it is entirely appropriate and acceptable to tip our guides separately from the staff as a whole. We also tipped the massage practitioner separately."

"the Location was great and the restaurant staff were friendly and provided us good service, which is unfortunately the two positive parts of our stay. when we arrive, the reception experience was very poor. No Information was given about the lodge or breakfast until I asked, and we were not even accompanied to our room. The condition of the room was disappointing. The shower and floors were dirty to the point where you could not shower without wearing flip flops. Housekeeping was also below standard. During our 2-night stay, the room was not properly cleaned, the bins were not emptied, dishes were not washed properly and both the bathroom and floors remained dirty. Only the beds were made. This was a very disappointing experience."

"My partner and I had a magical experience at Nyati safari lodge. During our stay we were guided during our safari drives by Daniel, Nicholis, Lesedi, Xander, and Nickel. Each guide was brilliant in their own way with their individual personalities, stories, and areas of expertise and knowledge. I absolutely loved having the chance to ask the guides questions and not only learn more about the animals and the habitat, but also the guiding profession. Of course, the animals (big and small!) were the stars of the show, but the guides took our experience to a different level! We were looked after really well by all the staff at the safari lodge from checking in with Ashante to the excellent afternoon and pre-dinner cocktails made by Percy and Innocent. Every mealtime was an experience in itself, so thankyou to chefs Sipho, Godfrey, Freida, and the hospitality staff including Dear. A particular highlight were the three ‘bomas’ we had spread throughout the week! We stayed in the safari chalet accommodation and it was very nice, I particularly enjoyed the large bed with mosquito netting and the hammock on the balcony. Watching a large herd of elephants frolic around for 1 hour in the olifant river from my bedroom is an experience I won’t forget. I will be telling all my family and friends about this brilliant holiday! Thankyou Nyati"

"This is a truly special place to stay, close to the town, and many restaurants nearby. Very relaxing pool area, and lounge. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, they even did a breakfast pack when we left early for one of our trips. Breakfast is served with pride, wonderful staff and great service. We have now stayed there twice, and will again on our next visit to Phalaborwa. If you want a place that is both comfortable and convenient for all that surrounds you, then choose ISO Bella Vita Guess House."

"This was an amazing destination, filled with great people, good food, expert rangers, modern safari vehicles and very well organised. We stayed in #3 safari tent and found it very comfortable, clean and private. The views out to the dam where the animals came to drink etc we excellent from this safari tent and all areas of the resort, including the pool, and restaurant. Our ranger/ guide Sydney was truly knowledgeable, and safe when traversing the bust tracks, and always was able to get the most out of each of the 2 daily game drives, His tracking knowledge paid off several times and wit and humour made for great drives. The communication from Katelyn in the office was exceptional and made our booking and any enquiries easy. The food and restaurant staff we fantastic and so eager to please. a big shout-out to thank all the staff, but especially to Sydney and Thomas as great guides, and someone that normally wouldn't get recognition, Sylvester, the young man at Milima front gate, who looks after the gate security and your vehicles all day and all night 7 days a week. He is a great guy and deserves recognition as well."
