What a wonderful place to stay. Stepping off the street through a non-descript door you enter an exquisitely renovated boutique B&B that has retained original stone walls, beautifully painted ceilings and an ancient staircase. This all contrasts with contemporary glass and metal finishes that somehow compliment each other to create a fusion of new and old. The rooms are of a reasonable size and spotlessly clean. The bathroom has modern fittings and is very comfortable. Breakfast is served downstairs. It is simple, but delicious and Giovanni ensures you have everything you need and personally makes your coffee. The location is superb - a few metres from the cathedral and a 5 minute walk to Quattro Canti. It is walking distance to everything you will want to see in Palermo and yet in a very quiet spot- an oasis away from the busy streets. Just be aware that there is a transparent glass wall between the bedroom and the bathroom, which some guests may not like. Other than that, this is where we will stay again should we go back to Palermo.

Giovanni y Olga han transformado una antigua casa palermitana que estaba casi en ruinas en un pequeño hotel de cuatro habitaciones tranquilo y a pocos pasos de la catedral. Cuento con un ingenioso concepto de iluminación y de aire acondicionado. Además está bastante bien insonorizado. El desayuno es preparado todos los días con mucho cariño por parte de la familia, que habla, además de italiano, inglés y español.
