Beautiful place

Ellen & Amber were legends 💯 Great short overnight stay here, nice room, good sleep quality, food was cheap and reasonable. Breakfast was good great staff all round.. TV in room was good, WiFi too. Parking free and secure, no hassle from cameras and fines etc..

Great place to grab quick and inexpensive lunch Great choice and friendly servers Steve was helpful and processing our order quickly as we were on limited time All in all a good experience Will definitely be back when we have more time

Lovely staff and customer service greeted with smiles from Steve and Paula and other staff members, food smelled absolutely gorgeous aswell also had a good morning from the man him self being Mark who is a great landlord always polite and has a smile

The bedroom was clean and comfortable, which is probably the best I can say about this hotel. The bathroom however was disgusting with grouting missing and mouldy, cracked tiles and the top missing from the hot water tap. When I complained to reception the receptionist was not surprised but said the bathroom was clean and okay. She said they were waiting for Green King to approve repairs and the room was okay. I was made to feel that I was complaining over nothing, but she did throw a half hearted 'sorry' as we walked away. I do not think it is okay to rent a room in such as bad state of repair. We were not offered a solution or the chance to change to a better room, bad customer service. We were on the ground floor and were kept awake by drunken shouting until 2.00a.m. Although this is not the fault of the hotel, it is adjacent to a rowdy pub and customers should be aware of this. Would not stay here again.

Staff at the hotel were very friendly, easy check-in system. Heater was put on for when we arrived in room as it was a cold winters day which was very thoughtful. Requested extra towels as there were not enough for all guests and staff arranged this immediately. Information given about adjourning pub/restaurant which was also good value and very convenient. There was an issue with the fire alarm due to people opening the fire exit door around midnight but was soon resolved. Would deff book again. Thanks. 😁

Mark and Kirsty made us all feel really welcome. We ate at the Hotel Bar which was also great. We would stay here again.

Stayed here with my partner originally for 2 nights ended up being an extra 2 nights due to the amazing rooms and service , came down for the darts tournaments for my partner they were excellent looking after us and best hotel in the area one of the best !!

We've been here lots of times for food. Staff food & value great. BUT please show vegan food in bigger print or different colour. Last Friday accidently ordered two vegan burger meals. Tried...tasted worse than awful. Reordered, extra cost. Even waiting staff said other customers had made same error. Please Hungry Horse management change menu layout for this. Thank You.
