"As a single dad travelling with my two kids (10 and 8), I can honestly say this holiday was worth every penny and every bit of effort. The kids absolutely loved it from start to finish. They made friends, made memories, and seeing how happy they were genuinely made the whole trip special for me. The pools were class, the slides were brilliant fun, and the play park and sports field kept them entertained for hours after the pools closed. The staff were excellent too — nothing ever seemed like too much hassle for them, and they were always friendly and helpful. All in all, we had such a good time that I got home yesterday, slept for about 14 hours straight, and immediately started looking at booking a longer holiday for next year! My only little gripe was that some of the food wasn’t quite “British” enough for my taste… but then again, imagine going to Spain and finding Spanish food everywhere hahaha. Would definitely recommend for families."

"Friendly service but very inattentive. Had sirloin steak ordered medium, arrived rare and not even warm. The quality of the sirloin, which I believe was not Sirloin, was not what you would expect from a Relais Château gastronomy. It was chewy although good in taste. The sauces served came directly out of the jar so the mustard sauce. The fried Potatoes had an bland and industrial taste and were not crisp at all. I don’t know what happened to this place. Last year we had an exceptional lunch there and were not disappointed at all. Not this time, unfortunately."

"About the restaurant: Lovely view, but the food is seriously overrated. When we placed our order, we were asked whether we would like some bread with aioli beforehand, which we accepted. However, the bread had barely arrived when, less than a minute later, our main courses were already served. We ordered the tuna medium-rare, but it was closer to well-done. The lobster pasta was nothing special either: essentially pasta with half a lobster on top and very little sauce. The service felt rushed throughout the meal, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the experience. Considering the prices, the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere, the value for money was not good. The view is beautiful, but unfortunately that alone does not justify the price."

It is a large property with all the perks of a big resort—like an aquapark, multiple pools, and great entertainment—yet it still manages to feel cozy and intimate. Even with full occupancy, the hotel was quiet (!), and there was absolutely no "sunbed war."What we loved:The aquapark: Very fun and attractive.The architecture: Low-rise, guest-friendly buildings. The tiled roofs, green shutters, and matching curtains create a wonderful, charming atmosphere.The downsides:The bathroom: It is definitely in need of refreshment.The food: Typical, average all-inclusive buffet.Overall, our stay was a big plus. Highly recommended!"

On the contrary, the gardens are top notch, the restaurant area is superbe, and the spa area, stunning. The Menorca experience is clearly overrated, there is not much to do in this island after your third or fourth day there."

"We had a great week here on our holiday. 2x children aged 7 & 5 had the best time, so many things and activities for them to do. The pools were chilly, but the kids had a great time. They had a very good park, football pitch & inflatable area. Food was good, a bit repetitive and for the fussy eaters if you’re happy with chips you’ll be fine. I did find that they maybe weren’t as allergy friendly as they could be. There were no allergen labels, and as a parent of a child who carries epi-pens for allergies, we did struggle on things for him to eat. The room we had was very small, a double bed & bunk beds in the living space with a desk also, the bathroom was dated but it worked as all we did was sleep there. Overall we had a lovely time, the area was lovely, hotel was clean & staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend for those with younger children!"

"What a lovely week we had. First of all the hotel itself. We checked in late at night due to airport delays. Reception were expecting us and check in waa quick and smooth. Tourist tax is around 30 euros each adult which we had to pay on check in. The rooms were beautifully clean and had everything we needed for a half board stay. The food/entertainment was a 2 min walk down the hill and across the road. Pools were lovely, clean everywhere. No problems getting sun beds. Even a place for pool toys to be left and reused. Great pools for children. Beach a short walk away but not as described by jet 2. No sunbeds/parasols to rent. But plenty around to buy in the shop if you wanted them. Sea was beautiful and clear and just generally a gorgeous beach. Food had great variety and choice. Different each night. Every night had chips, pizza and pasta for if you've got fussy children. Drinks on the expensive side in my opinion but no problem if only having a few. Overall we've had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend for families."

"Absolutely disappointing stay; definitely NOT a 5-star experience. We had booked Torre Vella for a 10-day family holiday but left after just one night. The property might be suitable for a romantic weekend at best, but is completely inadequate for a family stay of any length. Breakfast was extremely poor with very limited choice and everything covered in flies. The food overall was terrible - whether burgers or fish, everything was sub-standard and borderline inedible. On top of that, the whole experience is massively overpriced. We honestly cannot understand how this location received a 5-star rating. Hugely overrated, overpriced and an absolute let-down."
