On the first day, a very friendly and attentive waitress, but on the second day, unfortunately, the complete opposite. The rooms are okay; the older part is quite dated, but clean."

"Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, which made it hard to rest properly. The room was also far too hot, and the only way to sleep was with the windows open. The shower glass wall was poorly designed and inconvenient to use. The dining experience was frustrating. At dinner, there was no real choice — guests could only choose between two dishes, which felt very limiting. During breakfast and dinner, one staff member was particularly rude and unwelcoming. She would not allow guests to finish their breakfast if they were sitting at a different table, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Overall, the comfort and service did not meet expectations.."

"We've just returned from a lovely week at Mannis. We have been once before - for a summer holiday in 1999! Thought it was about time to come back. We had a great time as this is a lovely hotel. There's nothing really to fault here. The staff deliver an excellent service. Food is great. Spa is a lovely place to chill. There's a bus service from outside the hotel to the ski lifts, although the main Penken lift is only a short walk away anyway. The village has lots of bars and cafes - some more lively than others. We ate at Mannis a couple of nights (and a couple of lunches), but the rest of the time ate elsewhere as there's lots of choice. We found that the hotels are priced similarly to the cafes. The breakfast offered something for everyone and no need to go out hungry. The boot room is clean and modern, with individual lockers (that actually lock). The spa was welcome each night after skiing; the swimming pool was toasty. We tried the various saunas and steam rooms. Our only complaint about the spa was the presence of a large group of men who were very loud and many insisted on facetime calls at great volume. Not great in a restful environment. The skiing was good, but you have to climb a bit. Lifts all very efficient. All in all we had a great week away."

"Just got back from our excellent stay at the Rosenhof. It is great accommodation at a really good location in Mayerhofen given it is adjacent to the train and bus station. The regular ski buses to the Penken lift takes only a couple of minutes (it looks further on the map but it is a very quick journey) and it is easy to get a train to other ski resorts. Great ski room in the basement and we made use of the large sauna which you can book via the adjacent hotel. Would highly recommend."

"New and very high quality apartments, good breakfast and comfy beds. Family owned and vey friendly staff. The location is good: only a few minutes walk from the ski lift and Mayhofen center. Supermarket is just down the road. We had half board included, which was in a nearby hotel, but it was not worth it. The food was mediocre, the drinks exceptionally expensive and the was not enough staff. Furthermore you come back with a smell of food in your clothes."
