A bit disappointed. The hotel was sold to us as a Premium Retreat with smart casual dining. However being sat near tables with adult men in their 50s wearing denim shorts and people wearing bathroom slippers, there was nothing smart about it. Fine if you’re paying 3 star hotel prices but we were paying top end price. Our table was at the far end of the dining room so a long trek to the breakfast buffet and salad starter for dinner. We were upgraded to room 301 but the noise at night from the mail sorting office just up the road was intolerable, banging and crashing for an hour around midnight and again at 5am. 2 of the LED lights in the bathroom were out with just one of the 4 bulbs working so a continuous flicker came from the light. There was also a chocolate bar wrapper on the floor beside my bed; never had that at a Premier Inn! The heated towel rail didn’t work in the bathroom. The half board evening meal was good and some fine Austrian wines. The hotel is well situated for the ski bus and the ski room s good. We enjoyed the swimming pool although the dark lighting and high steps were more aimed at romantic than any thought for safety. Bar service was also lacking for the first few days of our holiday but improved later in the week. This is meant to be a family run hotel but I got no feeling of any interest or family being present.

This is an amazing hotel with wonderful staff. The location is perfect with the ski bus stopping right outside. From the welcome drink on arrival to check out the service was nothing short of exceptional. We stayed in the new wing and the decor and rooms were first class and very contemporary. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a beautiful suite. The spa was amazing and well worth a visit. The standard of cleanliness was outstanding throughout our stay so big kudos to the housekeeping team. The breakfast in the morning was top class with a massive choice of options and a lovely lady making fresh omelettes. The evening meals were some of the best I have eaten in a hotel with the Gala Candlelit Dinner on the last night being the highlight. The beef tenderloin was exquisite. All the staff we encountered were fabulous but the star of the show was the wonderful Julianna who effortlessly and professionally managed the restaurant but who also found time to show a warmth and genuine interest to all her guests an absolute credit to the hotel. Special mentions also to Julia and David who went above and beyond. Really can’t fault this hotel and would recommend it wholeheartedly.

It was our first time at this hotel and in Austria. We stayed on the 22nd Feb for 1 week. We were recommended by our friends to hotel Elisabeth as they have been twice before and we could not fault it. On arrival we were told we had been upgraded. Great first impression. Spotlessly clean, great meals, excellent spa and the most comfiest bed. If I could mention anything negative it would be how hot the hotel was and the fact we had to pay for water at tea time, when you could get it free with breakfast....made no sense whatsoever. Overall a great skiing holiday, perfect location, lovely hotel, staff very nice and friendly. Would highly recommend. Thank you

Our 9th annual visit and already planning 2026. Everything is fantastic. Staff ✅ Rooms ✅ Breakfast ✅ Dinner ✅ Bar (and wine)✅ Spa ✅ It’s situated at the entrance to the village so a 10 minute stroll to the Penken lift. But hire your kit with Ian at Rent for Fun directly opposite the Penken lift and you can leave your skis and boots and helmets overnight so you can walk up from the hotel in your trainers.

What can I write that hasn't been said already? Wonderful location with ski-bus stop outside. Magnificent food, really top notch - only one desert the whole week (a touch avante garde with flavour combinations) was anything other than fantastic. Comfortable bed, knockout wine list, and the best hotel spa I have ever indulged in anywhere in the Alps.

We all had a lovely stay in this hotel and would not hesitate to recommend. The staff and food are first class and our rooms so comfortable and clean. Would like to mention Bolash …what an asset to the Hotel, friendly and knowledgeable member of staff. Already looking to book for next ski season.
