Hotel location is lovely set off the road behind a riding school and the staff are friendly You have to pay for your meals as you go along as you cannot add anything to your hotel bill. Water, biscuits and face cloth were not consistently replenished

I held my baby shower here last weekend, from start to finish Debbie, the sales & events planner was incredible! Not only did she show great communication (responding promptly to my constant perfectionist emails) she also made sure that everything ran smoothly on the day. The staff on the day were also brilliant, especially Dan who oversaw the whole day. I had booked music room 1 which accommodates my 24 adults and 5 child guests perfectly. Happy customer & will be booking my wedding here! Ps the kids loved their candy floss deserts!

Went to celebrate a 90th birthday Sunday lunch - lovely surroundings very much let down by the standard of the food! Miserly starter portions; over an hours wait for the main courses which was cold when they actually arrived; a whole chicken served on a platter to some of the party who had 2 infants to manage and were expected to carve it themselves (surely it should’ve been carved by a member of staff ??!!🤔); the beef was too rare for the main guest who’s 90th it was, and when she asked to have some more well done they expected just to recook the rare slices she was served; the smallest side portion of cauliflower cheese I’ve ever seen which came in yellow water and had to be sent back (at £4.50 extra which was a disgraceful cost for the small ramekin it was in !!😤); dry overcooked roast potatoes; after the fourth time of asking the extra broccoli finally arrived when most of our guests had nearly finished. Why on earth try to skimp on portions - it just aggravates guests who are paying good money for what they hope will be worth it and add to the whole enjoyable experience !! The serving staff were lovely, polite and apologetic but the attitude of the manager when the bill was, rightfully, disputed left a lot to be desired!! There are significantly better and numerous local venues for Sunday lunch !!

If you are looking for a fast food approach, this isn’t the place for you. If you are looking for good quality food with time to digest it between courses, then it is for you. We had the three course Sunday lunch and the food was excellent, both in terms of presentation and quality. Service was good and a reasonable price for the quality. This is the second time we have visited and have never left disappointed.

After recently moving to the area we decided to eat at the hotel knowing that it was set in a lovely location. When we arrived at the restaurant we were seated promptly and our drinks/ food order was taken. We then proceeded to wait…. And wait…. And wait. In the end we waited for over 40 minutes for our drinks which never arrived and my husband had to go to the bar and reorder. When the reordered drinks eventually arrived at our table the waitress offered us our next round as complementary (god knows how long we’d have waited for those) and told us that the barman was useless tonight despite both her and multiple other servers walking past the table to the only other 3 occupied tables in the dinning room multiple times and not noticing that we’d waited the best part of an hour and only had water on the table. When the food arrived it was adequate but definitely didn’t make up for the complete lack of service. If planning a trip I’d recommend pre ordering drinks so that you have a chance to enjoy them with your meal. We will not be returning.

Attended the Brasserie for lunch, had a fantastic meal with great service. The salmon was amazing as was the beef shin and the standard of food worthy any London restaurant. The restaurant, and the grounds are first class, a lovely location. Will be returning soon!

We enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea at Hogarth’s for my Nan’s 80th birthday! The surprise 80th birthday balloon on our table was a lovely touch, and Maz’s attentive service, especially with my super fussy Nan, made the experience truly memorable. Thank you, Hogarth’s, for exceeding our expectations and making Nan’s special day even more extraordinary!

Stayed with my brother on the 13/4/24 - we had a twin room that was modern and lovely. Spent the afternoon in the lounge - service was fantastic ( thank you Emma for looking after us) Meal was excellent as was breakfast - general service fab. Can’t fault it. 👍

Having lunch at Hogarths was the ultimate dining experience. Driving into the beautiful grounds was a pleasure and being greeted by cheerful staff was welcomed and always a good start! Everywhere is immaculate and decorated with eye catching artistry. Check out Fred the fine art installation! Hogarths have successfully created an ambience where you can switch off and be any where in the world. Absolutely love the garden island, it’s enchanting! Food! Wow! Our lunch was just delish. We chose to try the eclectic choice of club Sandwiches but they were not just any ordinary sandwiches! I recommended the book keeper beef! Yum! Thank you everyone at Hogarths we had such a lovely time and will be back! Thanks Lee for the guide, great fun! Highly recommend!
