다르 다다 무스(Riad Dada Mouss & Suites)

I would back to this ryad, it was very cosy, tastefully decorated in a classy traditionnal maroccain style. Ryad safe in a calm dead end street, in the heart of the medina, very conveniant activities and visits are in walking distance, buses for activities further away are at a 5min walk bus stop. The staff is lovely and always ready to help or give advice. Our kids were welcomed and appreciated the space outside the suite that the many common rooms offered. Delicious tea and breakfast as well as the traditionnal homecooked dinner.

The place is gorgeous and very cozy. It's location is absolutely good- walking distance from 90% of the mark places. The food in the riad was very delicious and rich. The owner and the guy that helps him are so nice, friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommended!!!

We had a slightly negative experience staying in Riad Dada Mouss, which we think is important to note here. The riad itself is quite nice but we found the owner Mouss a little bit sneaky. When we arrived he told us that we would need to move room for our last night as he had double booked our room by accident. At the time we accepted this as there wasn’t any other option presented and we assumed that there must be a good reason for him to ask. For the next two days nothing more about this was mentioned (despite Mouss having our phone number) so we assumed that he had resolved the issue and that we wouldn’t need to move. When we returned to the hotel late on our last night we found that the lock to our room had been changed and we couldn’t access our room or stuff. No one was around to speak to so we wandered around the hotel and eventually found that our bags had been packed and moved to another room which was (without exaggeration) half the size of the room we had paid for. We confronted Mouss about this and he made a number of excuses , blaming another member of staff for not passing on the message as well as *********** for the error. We agreed that he wouldn’t charge us for the last night as compensation for the error and shook on the deal, at which point we thought this bad episode was dealt with. However the next morning (just before we were scheduled to leave) Mouss messaged us to say that he would still be charging us €30 for the room and so would be refunding less than the amount we previously agreed. We found this quite underhand, firstly to go back on his word just before we left and also to do this by text message after he had already inconvenienced us by bungling our booking. We argued this by text message and eventually he agreed to refund us €30 more (€10 less than the full amount we agreed on) which annoyed us. Additionally the next day we met the two people who had moved into our former, much larger room and they were two able bodied young people (i.e. there was no legitimate reason to move us out of our room and into the tiny upstairs room). We still don’t know why this situation, which really upset us, happened as there didn’t appear to be any reason to move us out of our room (other than perhaps to charge the other visitors more money for the better room which we had originally booked). The whole situation was confusing and ruined our last evening in Marrakech. Our advice to other visitors would be, if Mouss asks you to move room mid-way through your stay, just say no and leave it there. It was way too much hassle to try to help him out and it spoilt our stay. We don’t usually like to leave bad reviews but we felt that this was a situation that revealed a slightly dishonest character and so is worth flagging for future guests to be wary of.

This authentic riad experience was absolutely wonderful. The home itself is gorgeous with plenty of space to have a nice reprieve from the Medina. What really elevated the experience was the attentiveness and care from the staff. They were all very helpful, courteous, and did everything to make our few days in Marrakech perfect. Don’t hesitate to book here! We stayed in the Comfort room which was cozy and ideal for the two of us, but if you are a pair who might want a little more space, I recommend sizing up.

Great place to stay for my first trip to Morocco! Beautifully decorated with an authentic feel. Great location and the most friendly and helpful staff. Each room is unique, spacious and inviting. The space tops off with a roof top terrasse and splash pool, perfect for relaxing and chilling. Steps away from the souk for some fun shopping as well!

Une belle rencontre. Moktar….d’une disponibilité et d’une gentillesse exceptionnelles. 4 jours très agréables dans un cadre typique au cœur de la Médina. La place est à 10 mns à pied. Nous y retournerons ! Eric

Un séjour de 4 nuits dans ce Riad familial situe au coeur de la médina, proche de la Place. Accueillis par Moktar, nous avons tout de suite apprécié l ambiance, nous nous sommes sentis chez nous. Le Riad décoré avec goût avec sa chambre rouge donnant sur un petit salon baigne de lumière. Un gros coup de coeur pour Moktar pour la qualité de son service, son implication et sa générosité à faire de votre séjour un beau souvenir et l envie de revenir. Nous avons passé une semaine sur Marrakech dont 4 nuits dans ce Riad. Le riad n' est pas du tout conforme aux photos car ces dernières ont été retouchées pour y ajouter beaucoup de lumière. Notre chambre qui se trouvait au rez-de-chaussée était très sombre, la déco qui était en photo n'était pas présente, et la salle de bain une catastrophe : taches d humidité sur plusieurs endroits, fuite du siphon sous la vasque, évacuation de l eau dans une bouteille en plastique, très mauvaise évacuation de la douche ( inondation au bout de 2 min ), il fallait quémander tous les jours un nouveau rouleau de papier wc ainsi que le remplissage des bouteilles de gel douche et Shampoing... bref aucun service pour une nuit quand même à plus de 70 euros. Je ne recommande donc pas du tout ce riad qui a un très mauvais rapport qualité prix.
