Very pleasant staff ! Breakfast included. Very nice bedroom. Nice space with a swimming pool on the rooftop. Close to Jeema El Fna square, but no noise in the street. Several propositions of activities close to Marrakech

Lovely classic riad in a great location. The colours of the building are done in the “Hermes” orange/black which looks quite striking. The pool on the roof terrace is a must and allows you to keep cool whilst sunbathing etc . The couple Mohamed & Wife are very charming and set a very nice relaxed atmosphere. I said to Mohamed and he agreed that “ A happy wife is a happy life” Something he said he will never forget 😂😂. Great place and will return on our next visit .

I booked a one week Morrocan break for me & my wife in Feb 2023. After a 4 hour bus transfer from Agadir we arrived at Riad Hermes Marrakech. The caretaker manager was very amiable but informed us that there had been an overbooking. Instead of a three night stop we could only stop one night. We complained about the situation & he contacted his manager (not at the hotel). She was adamant that we could only stop one night. The caretaker manager tried to find us alternative nearby accommodation but was unsuccessful. We decided to take matters into our own hands. We contacted *********** who agreed to give us a full refund on the booking. We were also able to secure a booking at a nearby accommodation (although quite a bit more expensive). Our real complaint is the lack of consideration or empathy by the off-site manager who was heard tell the caretaker manager to "not feel guilty" about the situation. Also, how can hotels systematically overbook rooms. Like a previous reviewer, i suggest you think long and hard before committing to Riad Hermes

Riad Hermes is a beautiful Riad in the heart of the Medina. Our host Mohamed greeted us with a warm welcome and tea followed by an introduction to the hotel. The charm of Hermes is throughout and its incredible location makes exploring Marrakech a breeze. The roof top offered beautiful views and a wonderful breakfast while cooling down in their beautiful pool. We can’t thank the staff enough for their warm welcome and wonderful hospitality. We look forward to our next visit.

This is probably one of the worst stays I ever had, especially considering how expensive it is. We arrived late at night and they told us they didn't have a room for us, because 'I didn't confirm again the reservation the previous week' (it had been booked and confirmed for 2 months in advance) Their solution was offering us a room that had unusable toilet as it was under repair - so I had to shower in the rooftop where the pool is and we had to use the toilet in the reception - honestly this was outrageous We originally had 3 nights booked and during our phone call, the host indicated the rest of the nights were booked out. However, the very next day he told me he could arrange a room for both nights. We had to pay for the 3 nights and he didn't give any compensation or discount at all. We had 3 different rooms and the service each night was different. The first night we didn't even have the lower sheet so we had to sleep on top. The second night there was no gel or shampoo. The third night for example we weren't given a bottle of mineral water that they had given us the previous 2 nights. Booking system through emails was difficult as the host replies in English but doesn't know English, so I highly recommend you use French to avoid misunderstandings, and remember to re confirm your stay the previous week - but if I were you, I would never stay here (I had it prepaid, otherwise I would have left that very first night) NEVER EVER

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Riad Hermès! Le personnel est accueillants, à l’écoute et souriants! Les dîners et petit-déjeuners sont délicieux! La chambre était très agréable! Et la terrasse avec la piscine est très agréable! Nous le recommandons vivement!

ALERTE PUNAISES DE LIT Nous avons séjourné dans ce Riad en novembre 2023 et avons subi une infestation de punaises de lit. Après nous avoir accusés d'avoir ramené nous-même les punaises de lit dans son hébergement (difficile à croire lorsque plusieurs cadavres sont déjà présents sous le matelas et derrière la tête du lit le lendemain de notre arrivée), le propriétaire a cherché à acheter notre silence avec une remise commerciale pour un prochain séjour, qu'il ne nous a finalement pas accordée. Je regrette simplement de m'être laissée tenter par cette remise et de ne pas avoir alerté les autres utilisateurs plus tôt. Il faut dire que pour le reste, le personnel du Riad est très accueillant et professionnel. Une attention plus particulière doit être apportée au ménage et le propriétaire devrait se remettre en question.

Très joli cadre, calme, la terrasse/rooftop est aussi très agréable ! Le personnel est très sympa et le patron nous a expliqué tout ce qu’il y avait à visiter dans les alentours en nous montrant sur une carte comment s’y rendre ! C’est top ! En plus le Riad est très bien placé dans la médina.
