"We had a very nice Bungalow, 2c, directly on on the waterhole. We have seen many animals the whole day. The dinner an breakfast was very delicious. The prices for the drinks was low. We recommended this lodge."

"Manfred helped us a lot setting up the braai area for us. Bathroom could do with an extra shelve for toiletries. "

"Situated in the sand hills on the edge of the Kalahari the location of the lodge is perfect. The individual chalets are spaced across the sand around the reception and dining lodge. The lodge overlooks a small waterhole and feeding station for animals and there are generally some about. Game drives are available and quite good but the number and variety of animals is limited as you would expect in the desert. Meals are provided and are excellent with an option for game at dinner. Staff are excellent, welcoming and efficient. The thatched rooms are spacious and very quiet complete with air conditioning and the beds are comfortable."

"What a neat spot this was to stop on our way to Fish River Canyon. The dinner we had there was excellent even on short notice ( sorry kitchen staff), rooms are great, and it's fun to watch the animals nearby. Wifi works well in common areas, not so much in the rooms "

"We stayed here for just one night. The peace and quiet here is amazing, a real get away from the world and the night time view of the milky way spectacular. The rooms are quite large with lovely verandahs to sit and watch any comings and goings of animals. The room furniture is tired as was the internal bathroom area. There is an outside shower, but it was too cold for us to use it. Each room is close to the pool. Wifi is only available in the lounge / common areas. The food is eaten outside, unless it's raining. The food was enjoyable. One of our party was gluten free and they catered very well for her needs. We did a sundowner game drive which was amazing and saw lots of different animals."

"Kalahari is a place that works for different types of travelers. They have rooms as well as camping/glamping options. The rooms are cozy and have comfortable chairs on the terrace. The game drives were incredible with the scenery and sunsets. Therr are two pools and a spacious bar for relaxation. This place is a great value for what you receive as a guest. Thanks to James for helping to make my stay comfortable as a solo traveler."
