"I stayed at Meremeta Lodge as a solo female traveler and remote worker, and it exceeded expectations Location is great: Just outside the entrance to the Marine Park, but you’re still a short walk (30m) away from the park gate. Even nerarer by provided bikes. Clever and convenient. Not beachfront, and that’s a plus: Peaceful, secluded, surrounded by nature. Ideal for focus. Great value for money. Reliable power and internet: I had zero issues working online. This place is remote-work friendly, no doubt. That feels like a real luxury in some islands off the Tanzanian coast. Diving paradise: Easy access to world-class dive sites. I did a lot of dives during my stay and loved being able to walk everywhere while still clocking steps. Nutritious meals: The food is clean and energizing—perfect for anyone working or diving all day. Highly recommended if you're looking to unplug, dive deep (literally and mentally), and get meaningful work done."

Eco Shamba Kilole is ideal for lovers and birders. The flying foxes are just right by the lodge. Nice mangroves forest line just along the land. We had a great time there to decompress!"
