After reading the reviews we were not sure what to expect as we booked a travelodeal stay, but we couldn’t rate this hotel highly enough it really was a lovely place, clean, tidy and well looked after. We had two rooms one balcony with a lake views and one with a back view (it’s not the nicest view but it’s a good room) both rooms were bright and large. Beds were huge and comfortable the bathrooms where great and the showers were very good. The location of the hotel is fantastic in the town of Lovere it’s not bang in the middle but a lovely very short stroll and you are in the square with its cafes and shops, do look round the town as it’s beautiful with stunning views over the lake. Market day Saturday was a nice bonus , we didn’t buy anything but you get to experience the buzz of it all as it’s very busy. The absolute best part of the hotel is the staff, all of them are wonderful, friendly and will go out of their way for everyone. Not all spoke a lot of English but that didn’t matter as with a bit of charades and lots of giggling things are worked out. Shout out to Tudor our waiter most nights, he was just brilliant and was able to give advice on questions we had on travelling round the area. We did travel around a lot - Venice, lake Garda, lake Como and a good look round Lake Iseo ( which was our favourite closely followed by Lake Garda ) the hotel is placed really well for exploring. The car park is tight but our little hire Jeep fitted in ok, it did seem to get much busier in the car park at the weekends. The travelodeal menu was perfect for our family with three tweens, it’s four courses of big plates of food and in all honesty it’s got a good choice of different foods allowing us to try things we might not of ordered, the desserts were so yummy !! Admittedly there was no pizzas on menu but as we were out and about we were eating pizza out so didn’t worry us. Drinks are not included so we opted to pay our tab each night which worked fine for us. Breakfast was great wide range of more continental food but we all were totally full to start our day. The restaurant gets busy at the weekends with locals it didn’t effect us and added to the atmosphere. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again, our holiday was made all the better by the exceptional customer service, smiling and friendliness from the staff, the hotel being on the lake front for brilliant views made it perfect for us.

Disappointing stay the room had no view except a concrete wall and bins most unpleasant also the room was very tired. On the positive side the restaurant was very good with a wide selection on the menu, and the position of the hotel was good
