The hotel is beautiful and feels like there's a lot of history to it. The room was clean and we both loved the charm, and the location, close to both the pier for the ferries and the beach. We both loved the hotel, but I must highlight your concierge Rodolfo. When we were checking out my wife had left her purse with our passports in the bathroom of the reception level. My wife and I had to catch a ferry to La Palma in 30 minutes when she realized where it was. By then we were at the pier. She called the front desk while I ran back to the hotel and Rodolfo picked up. My wife was of course nervous because of everything in her purse aside from our passports. Rodolfo kept her calm and on the line, and immediately got my wife's purse and put it in the locked box in the reception. He had also been keeping an eye on the lobby so he knew that no one else had used that bathroom since my wife had used it. He also helped to calm her down. When I arrived running back he immediately gave me her purse and reassured us that everything was ok. Indeed it was and I was able to run back and catch the ferry on time. The staff at this hotel is amazing and definitely its best asset, and Rodolfo is at the top. Gracias Rodolfo! Hasta la proxima!

An honest review of the hotel! We arrived at the hotel at 11am and told we couldn't check in until 3 o clock this was quite frustrating as we had one very tired 3 year old who had been up all night all we wanted to do was check in not wait around for hours. When we got to the room (eventually) we found it to be basic and clean Which is all we wanted however the beds were horrendous and only one pillow each. There wasn't any Aircon and no fans available. Cleaners did come every day without fail. Also plug sockets were very limited so would advise to take an extension lead. Through no fault of the hotel someone around us was smoking **** on the balcony and stinking out are room every night. Some people have no respect for others!! The pool was clean but considering the size of the hotel it wasn't a very big pool. There were groups of young people playing water polo in the pool which really wasn't enough room but still it was allowed so you were left sticking to the sides and unable to swim around. people reserved sun loungers with there towels and then would disappear which I find very frustrating. Also only one pool bar which is fine by day but at night it became extremely busy and your left to queue for ages. I heard alot of people complaining about the food but however we found it very nice always something to find to eat even for the fussy eaters but it did become a bit repetitive. Staff in the restaurant worked extremely hard to keep it stocked and clean. Overall we were happy with the food. The entertainment team were wonderful with the kids especially Cesar going above and beyond to make sure the kids were happy and having fun but entertainment for kids was half hour - 3/4 hour at night and that was it no disco or anything for them after they had a few games normally a singer would come on which was no fun for the kids but I guess adults need entertainment too. Just found that there could of been more than just a few games for half an hour for them. Location of the hotel was great but it was quite hilly I'm so glad I took my pram. Las Americas only a short taxi ride away or half hour walk so we did that a couple of times during our stay. Overall we didn't have a bad stay with the hotel it was pleasant enough but not one I would return too

We read some bad reviews prior to coming to the resort and were nervous about what we had read. However we stayed here for 10 nights and had a wonderful holiday! Hotel location was perfect! A 5 minute walk to beach were there was plenty restraunts/pubs and beach activities too. We were all inclusive so ate and drank at the hotel majority of the time. The food was good quality, although not hundreds of options, the options provided were always of good standard. Bar and kitchen staff were always super helpful and up for a laugh, we were sad to be leaving them behind when going home!! Pool area was clean and life guard was super friendly and always went above and beyond for us. He spoke little English bus still somehow made us laugh daily. The entertainment team provide lots of activities during the day (darts, pool, bowls, basketball to name a few) which we always thoroughly enjoyed. The night time entertainment was always of good quality although my only negative was the evening entertainment would only be on for around an hour each night so was finished for 10/10:30 each night. There was an entertainment team member called Aada who we personally felt went that wee bit more above and beyond what was required. She was always trying to involve everyone and even those a little more shy, doing what she could to try get them involved. She made our stay!! As for the negatives, my only gripe was that the cleaner had only came to our room 2x our entire 10 night stay and rooms didn’t have a hairdryer or air con unit. We were able to hire a hairdryer and fan from reception but the fan doesn’t do much unless sat right beside it (which I had to do most nights when getting ready). Overall, we had a very positive stay and the staff definitely made the trip for us. We would definitely consider returning to Atlantida bungalows !

Every staff member friendly, and helpful. Bianca in the bar fab. Little things that keep ppl happy, like PG tips teabags, nice carvery each mealtime. Food excellent. Good choice of pools. 2 external entertainment acts each night, which is fab. Something for everyone. Cava lovely! Rooms clean. Nice bars short walk away. The staff really make it. Restaurant isn’t a clangy canteen for a change.

Fantastic apartments, everything you could need, lots of English television channels. If you do want to watch TV, there was some work going on along all the corridors which to some could be unsightly, but it did not bother us. The apartment was immaculate, only downside for us were the beds, we found extremely uncomfortable, but that is just our opinion based on our comfort. The pool bar is an absolute diamond, Alan, and all the staff were so welcoming, the food was delicious, as were the drinks, nothing too much trouble for them. I like the idea of €2 for the sunbeds as no matter what time you went to the pool area, you always go to bed, and I did not feel guilty purchasing my bed, putting my towel on and going off for something to eat, fantastic location, 10 minute walk along the prom to the main area with bars and restaurants along the way, just overall a fantastic holiday and will definitely return

The food was good quality, although not hundreds of options, the options provided were always of good standard. Bar and kitchen staff were always super helpful and up for a laugh, we were sad to be leaving them behind when going home!! Pool area was clean and life guard was super friendly and always went above and beyond for us. He spoke little English bus still somehow made us laugh daily. The entertainment team provide lots of activities during the day (darts, pool, bowls, basketball to name a few) which we always thoroughly enjoyed. The night time entertainment was always of good quality although my only negative was the evening entertainment would only be on for around an hour each night so was finished for 10/10:30 each night. There was an entertainment team member called Aada who we personally felt went that wee bit more above and beyond what was required. She was always trying to involve everyone and even those a little more shy, doing what she could to try get them involved. She made our stay!! Andrea's Hotel is towards the best 2 * hotel I've ever stayed in, clean, unexpected comfort and excellent service. The location is perfect, away from the hurly burly but close enough to walk to the beaches and harbour. Some good restaurants close by. The bedroom had a comfortable bed, adequate storage, air conditioning that's works well; also a quiet, effective ceiling fan. The bathroom is fine. There's a kettle, tea and coffee; TV, safe, hair dryer, plenty of duvets etc. We had a balcony with table and 3 chairs. The hotel has a good size lounge with a vending machines selling, crisps, chocolate bars, sodas, etc. Reception is manned 24 hours a day, good English spoken. . The lift works well. They have a secure lock up to leave cases etc. They don't do breakfasts but there's a number of cafes reasonably close; also a supermarket underneath the hotel. We paid about 60 euros per night and stayed there twice. Highly recommend.
