"Had an absolutely amazing stay and dinner at Wheal Tor hotel. The rooms were clean, welcoming and very dog friendly as you could open your back door directly onto the moors. The setting is just stunning. Perfect for couples or families with views to die for and the outdoor seating area is just fantastic. I came for my birthday with my partner and two dogs. They were made most welcome with treats, cuddles and water on tap being brought to them by the staff and owners. The location is amazing and the owner gave us great directions for our morning walk over to Minions via a pool for the dogs and some amazing engine houses. The food … what can I say. It was stunningly presented and not at all what I expected when we booked. It was so reasonable priced too, I’ve already recommended it to lots of my friends. We were told that they are undertaking work on the premises, so can’t wait to see what it will be like when we next visit (oh yes we’ll be back!) Thank you for an amazing stay! "
