Surprisingly quiet for the area it is in. The lobby area is shared with their restaurant, which feels a little tight, however, going into the rooms you can feel how functionality is smartly applied to all their spaces. Loved the decor.

The AlmaLusa Alfama is a lovely boutique hotel. The bed was super comfortable. The staff was super friendly and the location was great for exploring. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon who wants to be centrally located to many of the cities attractions.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was beautiful but what made it special was the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Very kind, very helpful. They are the very best advertisement for AlmaLusa. Can thoroughly recommend it.

Found this hotel thanks to an article in the FT and got a good promo rate in Jan. The hotel was fantastic!!!! Our room was spacious and amazing. Breakfast was among the best I’ve ever eaten and I’m a foodie. Poached eggs were the best ever! They added nice touches like a free dinner and free walking tour with Time Travellers. They also sent up free pasteis de nata to the room along with a small bottle of wine as we stayed there for several days. Superb location and service too. Highly recommended! Don’t think twice.!

All the staff were exceptional. They were friendly, helpful and could be relied on to give you all the information you needed to help you plan your day. The rooms were very clean and the only downside was not having enough drawer or shelving space to store smaller items of clothing, although there was plenty of wardrobe space. The hotel is very central and close to restaurants for evening meals. Altogether an excellent first visit to Lisbon

If you are looking to stay in a small boutique hotel with a perfect location this is the place. A beautifully redone old historic building with 25 rooms that oozes charm and sophistication. The room we had was small but had everything we needed. The hotel offers private and small group tours that they will book for you and the price was better than Viator. We booked ours prior to arrival to fill the day until we could check in but were enchanted by our tour guide. The hotel took our bags and they were in our room when we checked in. They delivered a small gift each evening, fabulous chocolate muffins one evening and some divine smelling hand cream another. A full breakfast was provided each morning. We were lent a iPhone to use for the totality of our stay which allows you to use data etc. Perfect if you do not want to activate your phone. There are many nice hotels but it is the little things that make a hotel stay perfect. Do yourself a favor and consider this wonderful little gem.

Outstanding boutique hotel, very stylish & comprehensive renovation, efficient & pleasant staff very helpful with requests from guests. A faultless hospitality location with a beautiful view of the square & the River Tagus. No criticism for our 3 night stay.

We stayed for a long weekend on a city break and had three double rooms. The rooms are beautifully presented with lovely high quality linen and very comfortable beds. The staff during our stay were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us, organising taxis, transfers and restaurant recommendations and reservations. The hotel is brilliantly positioned for exploring the city and offers a gorgeous open aspect and view ver the river.

This hotel is excellent in all aspects. The front desk staff were very helpful. The room was large, very modern and had a beautiful view. The breakfast had a large choice of buffet items and you could order other items. WiFi was excellent. Easy walk to the main square and pedestrian mall.
