The location of this hotel is far from historic center but 10 minutes walking to the nearest Alameda metro, but first the walking distance to the Alameda metro station is not to closed. The rooms are small, the staff is good, the location is off the hustle and bustle of the city but with 15 minutes walk of the train station and hop on hop off buses. Beds are large and the shower is good and so is the breakfast. there is little room for anything else so if you are looking to spend a few days in Lisbon it is a good place to park yourself. On the other hand, if you want more room and be in the heart of the Fado places etc..you have a 20-25 minute walk.

I am deeply dissatisfied with the online booking service offered by Zenhotels. I made a reservation for what I thought would be a private room with 2 pets allowed and made a payment of 97 euros, which according to the booking confirmation received, was the total amount for the reservation. I was supposed to only pay 6 euros for the tourist tax and 10 euros per pet for the entire stay. Upon arrival at the hotel (WOT Lisbon Nomad), I was informed that the reservation I had made did not correspond to a private room and that in order to get one, I would have to pay an additional 234.51 euros on top of the already paid 97 euros (this would be for the upgrade to a private room + 10 euros per day per pet). Obviously, this news at the time of check-in and with such a price difference (more than three times the original value) makes it almost impossible for the customer to seek an alternative. Furthermore, I tried to explain to the hotel that the website was not very clear about private or shared rooms, as the room description did not indicate that it was shared. Additionally, it did not mention that the payment for the pets was per day rather than for the entire stay. The person responded that if the website did not have complete information, it was not the hotel's problem. I countered that if they were selling their services through third parties, they are just as responsible as the website promoting them to ensure that the information is accurate; otherwise, they are complicit in a scheme to deceive customers. This place was simply the best hostel I've ever traveled to. The staff became good friends, always passionate to share their city and culture with guests, and always ready to just chat you up. The events the hostel hosts are so much fun! I made so many friends from around the world at their wine tasting classes. Wake up in the morning for a lovely breakfast and step out into beautiful Lisbon. Close by the metro station, no part of the city is beyond your reach!

Lovely and close to the airport, a late check-in, staff were delightful, she even came to my room to help me with the wndow, the handle was broken so it would not close properly. Toilet, seat was loose... Nice room, but a bit of road noise with open window. Breakfast was great and at €9.50 very reasonable, good selection and even a fresh orange squeezing machine. If you have an early morning flight, seriously consider this place. No stress about 10am checkout 👍

The hotel is amazing in every aspect! It’s in the middle of the cruise terminal and the airport. Metro is close by, and 4 stops to go to the city center. The hotel is very new, spacious, and clean. Breakfast is awesome with such a low price €8 (coffee is with decent quality, and you can even order latte, cappuccino or mocha for free). The hotel staff and restaurant staff are all super friendly. The lightning show at 10pm every day is very nice.

Sadly, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had and I travel quite a bit. The room is like a coffin, it is so incredibly small. For someone with claustrophobia, it is extremely challenging to be in a space like this. The window looked to the side of the train station, which only increased the confined feeling. The shower stall (separate from the toilet) is also small and the water would fill up and run out onto the bedroom floor. The shower water only get warm, but never hot. I reached out to the hotel (Nadia at the front desk) about this and she refused to help me and in addition to being quite rude about the situation, she suggested I pay an additional $65 Euro a night to switch rooms (which was $35 euro more than what is being advertised for the night on Expedia/booking). Her reasoning was that I’d already checked in -this seamed ridiculous to me because obviously I’d have to check in to know what the room experience is. All around, she didn’t care about my level of comfort which was quite disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend staying in this hotel ever. There is also a lot of construction going on around the hotel which isn’t directly related to the hotel but still a nuisance.
