Wunderschönes Hotel, toller Service, gemütliche Atmosphäre

Fantastic place to stay, spacious lovely room ,very clean.The breakfast and dinner are great and the staff is very friendly. Hotel is situated in a beautiful surrounding nearby the city of Bern Kassel . I really would recommend this hotel felt like a queen in the castle.

We loved our stay here. The staff is amazingly helpful and wonderful, and inviting. They made check in, and check out smoothly and easy, and when we turned around, they had already took our bags up to our room without us even having to ask. The grounds of this hotel are absolutely stunning and every aspect of this place has the history persevered in it. From the beautiful crystal chandlers right as you walk in, to the beautiful deep wood library right off the reception, to the marble staircase with the thick plush carpet runner, to the restored chapel with stain glass. The rooms feel like a modern day fairy tail bedroom, with a sparkling chandelier and medallion on the ceiling, and the plush bed sitting on a beautifully carved dark wood headboard, and if you are lucky enough to stay with a vineyard view, then enjoy opening the windows and listening to the birds in the morning as you sip your strong espresso. Honestly, you felt like you were staying in an old German Castle. I would 1000% recommend staying here, and it's worth the experience in every way.

O ur stay at Schloss Lieser was nothing short of magical. The staff was absolutely brilliant and the hotel left you speechless at every turn. It was our first family vacation (4 day road trip through Belgium and Germany) with our 3 month old so we were a bit nervous about the hotels and Schloss Lieser left us completely at ease. Everyone was super accommodating when it came to our son. From the wine tasting to having them bring us lunch in the library as he can be fussy if he’s not looking out a window, we were so grateful to everyone for making our stay one to remember. We stayed in a junior suite and it was so beautiful and well kept; it felt like we could just spend the whole day in there staring outside the window and admiring all the features. The stay was further elevated by the absolutely delicious food, amazing service (room service was so fast!), and peaceful atmosphere. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer, however, this surely will be our new annual holiday spot! Thinking about coming back for a longer trip for my birthday in July as I already am missing it!

Just pamper yourself and book some nights at this really lovely castle which has been renovated to perfection. We stayed in a Mosel view room on the top floor and really felt like being in Schlosshotel heaven. The breakfast was outstanding and one of the best we ever had in a 5 star hotel (loved the ham with truffles). The spa area speaks for itself and my wife really enjoyed the professional massage, just coming back from an exhausting Morocco trip. Only down site was that we were informed quite gruffly, that normal check-in is possible not before 3 pm , which one can accept on an exceptional basis but not as standard. Weirdly we have been informed, that it usually costs extra money to check-in earlier, which does not match the hospitality standard, which a huge US hotel chain claims to itself.

If you are planning on a visit to the Mosel region, this hotel...once a castle is one not to be missed. Such a wonderful experience with a stunning exterior matched with a gorgeously decorated interior making anyone feel like a King or Queen. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights near the end of August. Such a beautiful room, unfortunately the air conditioning was not working very well, and well it was hot in August. The hotel staff did their best by providing a portable a/c unit although it still wasn't very cool in the evening/bedtime. They did compensate by also allowing us to have free bike rental for the day which was a great way to see the nearby cities and vineyards. Overall, the entire staff is very accommodating and helpful from front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff. The hotel itself is so much fun to just wander around and look at all the places inside of it. The mini church (not in use), the library, a delicious restaurant attached (Puricelli), the fitness/spa/pool area. Or even wander next door to the Thomas Haag/ Schloss Lieser winery just steps from the attached driveways. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back here if we're in the area again! The Mosel region is a special place to see and enjoy for everyone of all ages!
