Fell in love with Larvik! Had a room with a friend that faced the beach - absolutely gorgeous view. Golden hour seemed to last forever. The room was comfortable with beautiful balcony. Views are stunning from everywhere in this hotel. The spa offered so much choice and we quickly got comfortable even cold plunging in the Fjord. Staff was kind and very accommodating. Even helped us to find parking offsite. Breakfast had exceptional variety and many healthy options and was included! The wristbands as keys were brilliant as I never wondered where my key was lol. Would recommend this hotel and this city to anyone! We’ll be back ❤️

My daughter and I spent a fantastic night at this spa hotel. The location is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed many treasures that were on offer from herbal steam rooms, saunas, jacuzzi’s and mineral grotto’s. It was an absolute indulgence that did not disappoint. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and all the staff were very friendly and helpful

I recommend a stay at this resort. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Athmosphere, saunas, food, and service is 100% perfect.

Farris Bad is nothing short of spectacular. From arrival to dining, spa treatments to thermal suite, curated Aufguss experiences to cold plunges in the North Sea, I highly recommend visiting.

Service and communication was excellent Location is excellent very close to the train station ideal for an overnight stay if you’re travelling into another destination. Food was very good value for the money.

The shower in the hotel room was made of cheap plastic and didn´t work well. The water temperature of the shower was maximum lukewarm warm at all times. The price of a bottle of Sprite was Nkr. 65, which was unreasonable expensive even in Norway. The stay was pre-booked several weeks in advance, including a small dog. On arrival date we were told we had no room that accepted a dog, a miscommunication between customer service department and the front desk staff. We had to wait 30 minutes for the mess to be cleared up.

Overall, excellent place to come to relax and fully disconnect from the world. Great staff, great spa, great food, great rooms. The SPA isn't big, but it has everything you need for an excellent stay - variety of saunas, the pool, several jacuzzi, and excellent, inspiring, uplifting sauna events led by knowledgeable sauna masters.

Nice room. Although no desk and chair to sit down and work if you need to prepare during the conference or work. Not tea or koffee in my room when you needed that you had to go to the bar waiting 20 min to get served. I got the impression that some rooms had that but not the one I got and no one told me upfront. I eventually got it asking but its the trouble when you need to work from the room. If you are member of Strawberry they did not want to do that during checking and then I forgot when I checked out.

First and foremost, we are incredibly disappointed. We believed Farris Bad was one of Norway's best spa hotels, offering top-quality experiences. That’s why I happily treated my pregnant partner to a birthday stay, including a maternity package with a prenatal massage. Shortly after arrival, we were told the therapist was unavailable due to illness. I assumed we’d get a proper refund and enjoy the rest of the spa. Instead, we paid 600 NOK per person for an unimpressive lunch buffet. The spa itself was a huge letdown: a cold main pool, overcrowded grotto, and saunas my pregnant partner couldn’t use. An outdoor jacuzzi was far too cramped. The milk bath we were offered as compensation was one of the few highlights. Dinner was equally mediocre, far from what we expected. The room was fine, and the beds were decent but nothing remarkable. At checkout, I was told we’d only get 600 NOK refunded for the canceled massage since we booked a package. This is unacceptable when the whole point of the trip was the massage, and the rest didn’t justify the price. I expect this matter to be addressed.

Fantastic spa hotel situated on the shore of Larvik, good rooms and pleasant service at all levels, rooms with view along the shore or to "Denmark". This hotel is to be recommended.

Everything was perfect , the spa was good. The room was clean and I got an amazing sleep in their soft bed. The food was delicious and the whole stay was 10/10. I will come back!

An absolutely wonderfull stay With very fair prices. Best spa Area i have ever been to and the selection at the breakfast buffet Excellent. Staff was very Nice and all in all one Of the best hotel i have been to.
