I have a really mixed feeling about this hotel. I booked the superior room with tree lined view and asked for a quiet room: the receptionist gave me an extremely cold and noisy room right next to the motorway and above some nightclubs. My watch has identified the noise level is over the normal limit. I couldn’t fall asleep due to the loud noise even at midnight. I called the receptionist to change a room. Unfortunately, they first gave me a standard room that the heating system was not working and much smaller than I have paid for. The two maintenance officers who came to check the heating system are very helpful and suggested to change to another room. Only by then, I was able to change to another room that matched the similar sized of a superior room, but without tree lined view. I must say that all the receptionists were friendly and polite but behind their friendliness, they are not really helpful at all. I had my dinner, a sea bass meal, at the restaurant - see the photo. The dinner and the service was both outstanding. The kettle in the room was not very clean; it could easily be cleaned by using small spray to remove the calcium. The gym and swimming pool are excellent. If you are not used to live in really loud room, please double check with the receptionists. It is also not worth to pay an extra 10 pounds per night to get a so called tree lined room with extreme loud noise. I also wonder the reason for the hotel to give customers rooms that the heating system are not working. It would helpful to check before they allocate room to customers. It would also helpful that the hotel ensure that the room has reasonable temperature before admitting guests, esp on a very cold winter night. Overall, this is not a very good experience. I was not able to sleep for a whole night. I paid extra in the hope of getting a better and quiet room but ended up with one of the worst room without getting any compensation.

위치가 정말 좋았습니다. 시내 중심부에 있었거든요. 다만, 트래블로지 호텔이 두 곳 있는데, 저희는 처음에 잘못 찾아갔습니다. 기차역 근처에 있는 곳이었는데 편리하긴 했지만요. 택시를 잠깐 타고 제대로 된 호텔로 옮길 수 있었습니다. 리셉션은 특이하게도 3층에 있지만, 직원들은 친절했습니다. 호텔 키는 해당 층만 열 수 있고, 안전문도 설치되어 있습니다. 휴대폰 근처에 키를 두면 센서가 작동을 멈춰서 아무것도 열리지 않으니 조심하세요. 저도 그랬는데, 리셉션에 가서 해결했습니다. 밤에는 1층 자동문이 잠기기 때문에 외부인이 들어올 염려가 없어 매우 안전하다고 느꼈습니다. 리셉션과 같은 3층에 바와 카페가 있어서 음료나 간단한 음식을 즐기기에 편리했습니다. 직원들은 매우 친절하고 도움이 많이 되었습니다. 카디프는 보행자 전용 구역이 넓어서 주요 상점, 레스토랑, 펍(오와인 글린두르 펍 추천)은 물론 뷰트 공원이나 카디프 성 같은 관광 명소까지 걸어가기 편했습니다. 크리스마스 마켓과 윈터 원더랜드도 가까워서 밤에 보면 정말 아름다웠습니다. 환전소는 호텔에서 걸어서 금방 갈 수 있는 퀸 스트리트 쇼핑 아케이드 입구에 있었습니다.

가격이 주변 다른 호텔보다 훨씬 저렴했어요. 위치도 훌륭했습니다. 체크인 시간은 오후 3시였는데, 호텔 웹사이트에는 오후 2시로 표시되어 있었어요. 프런트에 전화했더니 직원분이 일찍 체크인할 수 있도록 해주셨습니다. 방은 넓고 깨끗했고, 욕실도 좋았습니다. 다만 더블 침대를 예약했는데 싱글 침대 두 개를 붙여 놓은 거였어요. 샤워기 물이 너무 뜨거워서 여러 번 돌려봐도 계속 뜨거워지더라고요. 결국 찬물과 섞어서 욕조에 부어 썼습니다. 전반적으로 좋은 경험이었어요.

도심과 너무 가깝습니다. 카디프 성은 도보로 3-4 분 거리에 있으며 침대는 깨끗하고 온수가 작동하며 침대는 깨끗합니다. 감사

Clean, spacious, cheap, close to city and transport. However, shower was poor, room was cold and not able to adjust heater. TV remote did not work (wanted to watch Netflix of an evening and couldn't) The poor do outweigh the good, but for a cheap stay with close transport links it's ok. Don't expect great things
