스머글러스 노치 리조트(Smugglers' Notch Resort)

When you want a family ski vacation, Smuggs is the place to go! This was our 34th year. We started with young children, who are adults with their own children who love it as much as we did! We have met so many friends over the years who also return every year.

The rooms and views are great. Trail conditions are great with plenty of groomed trails. We love the pool and hot tub in the afternoons and the restaurants are had great food. Music on Saturday nights at the pub was great as well. We love going to Smuggs every year for all the things you can do at one place.

Skiing was amazing. Groomers rock! All around family fun experience. Great time with friends. Good food and great drinks . Will come back every year. Have been coming here for over 20 years and prefer Smuggs to any other ski resort. Why go anywhere else?

I must say this is a rare gem! I run a large vacation company and very rarely do you come across a property like this that has not been taken over by a major corporation! The family style resorts are a dying breed, you can feel it when you check-in. 3 mountains with just under 100 runs! We booked a one bedroom unit which came fully equipped with everything we needed for the trip. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil all the way to the crockpot, which was very useful. Nothing better than skiing all day and coming home to a warm bowl of chili . We will definitely be a repeat offender to Smuggs! Thumbs up to ALL the staff you made our family feel welcome!!

Stayed in the Sycamore cabins which were simply great. Shuttle bus was only a call away and very fast to bring anywhere (didn’t miss a set of first chairs). Trails were well groomed and was even better when there was a 2 inch snowfall overnight.

Majority of amenities totally shut down during shoulder season and units show the significant wear and tear of a long ski season!

A springtime stay at Smugglers Notch means not having reliable amenities available, even if they're advertised by the resort/Wyndham/RCI, etc. Each day was a hunt for what was open or had been closed down without notice and would be unavailable for the duration of our stay. Staff was very nice but apparently the manager was okay with existing guests losing amenities unexpectedly. Had a great stay here last year, but too many issues this year, and our May reservation seemed to be beyond the resort's ability to handle. Aside from strange unit issues which should have been resolved before our check-in, the larger resort's lack of concern for guests on property was not at all welcoming. We tried to elevate to Wyndham and were transferred around five times, once being told that Smugglers Notch "is not associated with the customer care line" and finally being transferred to a reservation line, never receiving any customer service for the issue we were reporting. It seems the only guests that matter here are winter skiers.

First, may I say that the staff is unbelievably pleasant, from the housecleaning people to the groundskeepers to the manager himself. Secondly, the unit we inhabited is spacious, bright, clean and well-appointed. We wanted for nothing. Thirdly, the free WIFI was extraordinarily good. Two huge disappoin**ents: one was the location of our unit, way up the mountain, 4 huge curves on gravel, potholes, and mud, and we [70’s] were on big motorcycles. I found the ride up and down a bit disconcerting. Being in-between seasons, we knew some activities would be curtailed, but were kind of shocked to find there were NONE available. In fact, none of the many restaurants were open, none of the pools were open, the Waterpark was closed as was the Ziplining Adventure. Would we return? Probably not, but if we were to consider it, we’d call to make sure there were amenities available.

Looking for a place to go over the weekend with the kids..This place is just right..But be prepared because there are no packaged deals the closest supermarket is about a 20 minute drive and the gas station is even farther.. There is a pool for the kids a great place for a summer weekend.
