Casa Gisella Surf House ★★

"Too many stairs, & no access to elevator after 8pm, towel service not satisfactory & one room smelt overwhelming with cigarette smoke. Don't recommend. Charged extra for room than quoted online as 2 person rooms."

Riva di Palo Resort ★★★

"Really a disappointment. It feels like they are struggling financially. The rooms and common areas feel run down and undercapitalized. It's a shame because the property has a tremendous history (which they do nothing to tell one about it), and oceanfront location with nice gardens. The service is ok, the food much less than one would expect for a Small Luxury Hotel. The website is much better than the in person experience."
