Bigger than usual hotel. Nice King bed. Hotel was modern and clean. Fridge in room. Microwave in lobby. Laundry services at sister property 1 min walk away. Location is near all the shopping and restaurants in Kyoto.

The accommodation was advertised as an apartment when it’s just a room. No daily cleaning or room service was provided and even for check in, one has to do everything. The main hotel was a short distance away and although the staff in the reception were afable, they were not very much helpful when it came to help with restaurant booking. It seems like one of those modern concepts in which the guest is pretty much responsible for every arrangement in order to save money to the company. That said, the room was not that cheap and as mentioned before, very misleading and disappointing to find all that only after arrival . I would not recommend to stay at this place

We loved it so much that we decided to stay longer. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. The sister property, only a block away, has great coffee and breakfast too. Close to Gion and 10 minute walk for the metro. Highly recommended! ❤️👍

Orribile e triste posto in un quartiere tremendo. La cosa peggiore è che I vetri della camera sono dipinti di bianco ed é impossibile guardare fuori. La pulizia della stanza non c'è, è fatta solo se state almeno 4 giorni. Il servizio è affidato a una povera ragazzina che tenterà invano di imbonirvi
